Thong Dee's Thai

So was hubbys birthday and he wanted a Thai and had heard good things about this restaurant and they also delivered. We pre ordered for delivery at 7pm and when it arrived you was instantly hit with the amazing aromas from the food. Hubby had the Tamarind Stir Fry - Duck and he absolutely loved it. The sauce was so flavoursome and he loved it. Everything we ordered from Chicken Satay Slewers to Chicken Panang was amazing. The food was hot and cooked well. This is definitely a little gem and we will be returning. Thanks

We crashed our friend's table booking, and they were able to accommodate an extra three of us at short notice, which was great! The decor is strange but good. It feels a bit like a tourist trap from another country, but it's kind of endearing in a way and makes you forget you're in Folkestone for a brief moment. Service is great, some slight slip ups with drinks and a couple of dishes were a little slow to get to the table; but there were a bunch of us and I believe the cocktails menu was a work in progress (and were awesome!) The food was delicious and well portioned. I'm not that well acquinted with Thai food in general but what I had was very flavourful with a decent spicy kick!

We weren't sure what to expect since some past reviews were pretty negative. Fortunately during our visit everything went perfectly. The service was very nice, the food arrived quickly and was very good and we had nothing to complain. On the contrary: The quality of everything was comparable to other Thai Restaurants we visited in different countries. We can definitely recommend this restaurant.
