Absolutely amazing, the venue is stunning and the food was spot on. One of the best Indian restaurant I've visited. The service was friendly and professional and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place and will 100% return when I'm down these ways again. Very nice experience 👍🏻

Lovely setting in a couple of old thatched cottages. Food was good, the service a little slow but to be fair we thought that was due to the current restrictions. We all enjoyed everything that we ate and drank and thats the main thing. 👍🏻🍻

This is easy walking distance for us, so we go there relatively frequently. Right from our first visit, the welcome has always been warm and courteous. The ambience is unusual for an Indian restaurant in the UK, but is conducive to a good meal out, either in a group or just a couple. In our experience, the food is exceptionally good. It is obviously prepared fresh, and the chefs manage to infuse it with spice combinations that enhance, not overpower, the taste of even delicate-tasting food. If anything, the spices used enhance the freshness of the food. And, as we usually end up with a "doggy bag", I can confirm that the food is still good when eaten cold the next day! The service is attentive and courteous without being pushy. The food is not the cheapest, but the prices are very good when you consider its quality. If I was to make a complaint, it is that we enjoy the starter and main course so much that we rarely have room for a dessert!

Had this highly recommend to me as one of the best Indian restaurants around. I was not impressed as I went here for a birthday meal. Over priced. Poppadoms and chutneys bought to our table without being asked for and then tried charging, and the actual meal wasn't anything special. Expensive and not enjoyed unfortunately. Prefer to go to the Raj, although wasn't impressed by the food or service last time I got a takeaway from their either. As for some of the 5 star reviews on here. Looks to me suspiciously like the owner and staff. Otherwise they may have got 3 stars from me

Incredibly friendly staff, even for takeout customers - offered us a seat at a cosy fireplace and offers drinks regularly. The food was incredible and the restaurant itself is very nice. Relaxed, cosy, warm and a good atmosphere. Ample parking and easy to get to.

This establishment was the greatest I have ever experienced in my whole entire life! The food was exceptional, I will never ever dine anywhere else. I have officially signed my soul and body off to this restaurant. If you can't tell I was very pleased with it's service, I was so impressed i asked whether i would be able to join. sadly they said no because you have to go through extremely intense training. THIS WAS THE BEST DINNER I HAVE EVER HAD. Please attend.

A really lovely Indian. Living in Bedford, we're lucky to have a good selection of curry shops and this is on par with the best for flavour and quality. The garlic rice was delicious and nutty, my Balti was lovely with chicken that just fell apart and wasn't greasy or oily. The staff were also very pleasant, sharing a joke or 2 and offering advice on dishes. Would recommend to anyone wanting a filling, flavoursome meal. We had 2 mains, 2 rice dishes, 2 poppadoms, 2 glasses of wine and 2 cokes which came in at under £45. Not bad at all

Been in for meal early, as usual the food and service was great! 10 of us for a birthday meal, birthday boy was 6 today and wanted a family outing to the restaurant. The staff went out out their way to make it special! Even a dessert on the house and a gift as we left! Top effort!!!
