This was the best venue for our son’s second birthday party! So many people commented on what an amazing space the tipi area was for a party! The mud kitchen provided was the biggest hit with the children and they absolutely loved our visit from the guinea pigs and tortoises! The staff were so friendly and helpful! I was amazed by all the options for ‘add-ons’ when we first booked… it was so hard to pick! We also loved that we had the freedom to include our own things too. We ended up doing a treasure hunt and a couple of stations for playdough and colouring-in ourselves and it all worked out perfectly. We were prepared for all eventualities with the weather but I think some of the guests were particularly happy that it stayed bright and dry for us! It would have been fab whatever the weather though! THANK YOU!

Excellent family day out. Lots for kids to see and do. Great value. Cafe has superb scones and coffee. Staff friendly and helpful. Didn't get a chance to visit the nature reserve, so am looking forward to that next time!

Popped in for a coffee n cake....yum! Lovely. Later came back with family for lunch. Very quick service.. despite the poor girl being run off her feet. Lovely fresh sandwiches in a lovely location. There is an outdoor adventure type play area too. It was a great day. Thank you.

My family's first time at Murton farm and it was a delightful visit! My 2 year old had loads of fun at the park and seeing he animals! His and my wife's favourite were the pigs! It was difficult to get him to leave because of how much fun he was having at the play park!
After our time on the farm seeing the animals and enjoying the park, my wife and I went into the cafe and enjoyed a nice breakfast served by the lovely staff!
It deffinetly wont be our last visit as for £2.50 to enter the farm it's an aosolute bargain!

This place has it all for a great family day out. Great open space, animals to see, trampolines, sand pit and lovely cafe area with extra hand cleaning facilities. We had the best day and would highly recommend it for all ages x

Before I'd left I was planning a trip back! So many cute animals I came away feeling so happy 😊
It's a large expanse of land but not too big that you can't see everything in one trip. You could see some, have a break in the tea room and then go back out.
It is farm land but the grass is kept short.
There are adventure structures and things to see and do as you go round.
The tea room is nice and you can get light lunches and home bakes and souvenirs. You can also buy animal feed to give to the birds and poultry.
The walk around the Loch is beautiful. There's lots of picnic tables in front of the cafe and you can order food to take away.

Fab wetland walks, great with 7 and 3 year old - though the poor red squirrels could hear us coming I reckon! Tearoom outstanding, clearly take pride in the food and coffee which was all a delight and the service friendly and welcoming. Trampolines and natural toys were great - just a couple of elements of the playpark needing some TLC but really, that's nit picking because this place is a happy and healthy one and well worth a visit. No dogs allowed which made it a calmer and cleaner visit than other similar attractions we have recently visited with the kids so, for us personally, an extra bonus. ☆☆☆☆☆

There is a really nice tea room here with good food, high quality high chairs and toys and books for children to play with while they're waiting for their order. The farm itself is nice enough but a lot of the pens were empty when I visited with no explanation. The playground is amazing though, with loads of things for children of all ages to do. We were planning to make this a quick lunch stop but ended up staying for much of the afternoon as well.
