If you've never had Turkish food, you can't go wrong with the offering from the Sultan Restaurant! We've dined here for over a decade and have never been disappointed! If you're not sure about the cuisine, have a look a their menu on their website; it's pretty descriptive. Their take away is fantastic; I usually order the Iskender Kebab.

Went here on Tues to celebrate my 60th, from the moment we walked in friendly welcome, there was happy birthday lights on table my friend organised balloon at my seat.
Taken to the table ordered Turkish shot, aniseed flavour I cant remember the name and bottle of prosecco.
We were given few minutes when waitress took out order,
We both ordered Sucuk my favourite comes salad spiced onion sausage and warm pitta bread is very tasty, then I ordered Yogurtlu kebab with pitta, my friend had Karasikizgara normally served with rice she had swap rice pitta bread not problem plates come very hot but your are warned it kept the meal hot though out, I never had sweet but friend had baklava did have small bit try. Then my cake came out. The food was fantastic very talented female chef.
If you want fantastic food and service I would recommend Sultan ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 star

Staff are so friendly and talkative. Have sat in once and had takeaway a number of times both have been amazing, cannot fault the food in any way at all so tasty full of flavour.

Excellent food, as always. Great service even though the place was full, waitress was very attentive without being obtrusive. Well worth a visit, but if you're thinking of going at the weekend make sure you book a table.

Disappointed. Have been going to this restaurant for 20 plus years and have spent well over £2,000 in the process. Last time out they tried to overcharge us and when my wife complained we were told not to come back. No recognition of our long term commitment and an apology was not ever considered. We shall take her at her word and not go back. Shame.

GREAT LITTLE RESTURAUNT. Great food in pleasant surroundings, waiting staff very friendly but the owner always looks like he is in a bad mood, renowned for it locally, never seen him smile. Putting that aside, I can only think of one other Turkish within 30 miles that is on par with this place. Well worth a visit.

Great food, friendly staff. My wife and I use this restuarant from time to time. We always have an excellent meal with the banter from the staff adding to the experience. The food is well cooked , presented and plentiful and there is a full description of the food on the menu so there should be no problem in getting what you asked for. We take friends who visit us to eat there and they are always impressed by the "cosiness" ,yes the tables are quite close together, but this all adds to the night out. If you want a Friday or Saturday night you have to book WELL in advance as it a very popular venue in the locale. This restuarant has been open since 1976 and is still under the original management so it must be doing something right !!

TERRIBLE FOOD AND STAFF. I have just had the misfortune to eat at this so called Turkish restaurant. The meal was completely covered in tomato sauce (which wasn't mentioned on menu) and when I told the waitress I didn't like my food swamped in sauce I was told "you never asked" Be warned, terrible staff attitude and crap food.
