Best omelette and chips in a long time. Very friendly staff. Fantastic wee deli and gift shop. Locally sourced eggs. Handmade carrot cake. Love places like this! Wasn’t sure as some of the roadside cafes are dim but this one is lovely. Don’t hesitate to stop.........
Food always fresh made. Bit pricier than some places. But worth the little extra. Been loads of times and will be back.
THIS is a great place to eat and visit. I’ve been here many times and will visit again. Whilst the inside of this restaurant looks like a cafeteria it might make you think the food may be iffy however, this is definitely a place to try! Parking is a bit tight, but that’s such a minor thing. I’ve been here so many times and the food is always amazing, hot and delicious. The store has unique gifts and souvenirs! The bathrooms are clean! Peggy Scott’s is reasonably priced with delicious food - something I’m sure the locals know all about! Thank you Peggy Scott’s for continually making my mouth 👄 and stomach happy!

Decent food, and amazing cakes and slices. Clean, tidy and quick service.
Good grub at a reasonable price but got my coffee before my roll was ready so it was cold when I went to drink it. I did say coffee with the food but they poured it anyway. Have dined a few times her and would recommend it.
Have passed many times driving up the A90, first time stopping by. Great place for a pit stop. Nice shop area with all sorts of gifts, homewear and groceries. The cafe area offers a full selection of meals and snack, with a mouthwatering display of cakes. It was a bit early for cake so opted for hot chocolate and a bacon roll.
First visit to Peggy Scott's and won't be our last.
My partner had steak pie, chips and beans and I had a baked potato with coronation chicken.
We both thought the food was tasty and very good value for money.

Best place for food on the A90, always stop in past and get coffee, some food and a few custard creams to take away, they are the best I have ever tasted. Staff are friendly, service is second to none and the tables etc are spotlessly clean.
In addition to the cafe there is also a small shop selling local produce and toilets that are well maintained.
Decent sized car park, with additional parking around the side of the restaurant.
First time going to Peggy Scott's. We tried the baked potato with coronation chicken and the steak pie, chips and beans & 2 pints of Coke Zero. The baked potato & chicken were lovely, The steak & gravy pie was really nice, the chips were crisp and the beans were, well beans. Prices were reasonable. We went back in on our way home, the next day and tried some of their cakes and apple pie. They were all nice. We are going to try them for breakfast next month.
This was a very enjoyable stop during our roadtrip.
Good and honest food (custom breakfast with fresh coffee). Friendly and easy-going service. I recommend.
