Excellent combination here: Best scones I've ever eaten. Best strawberry jam and raspberry jam, too. My wife also had a slice of cheesecake (as takeaway). She ate it later at Dunnottar Castle and realized it was the best cheesecake she'd ever eaten, too late to return for another slice. Next visit, though. Friendly folks here. Easy to meet the family-owners. Shake hands with Owen, whose jam business has really flourished. Advice: Get a few jars of jam for home and take several scones with you for later. You'll be glad you did. I took a few extra for me and a few more to share with staff at Dunnottar Castle, where the car park attendant agreed that these scones are the best that he'd ever eaten. He even called his wife to tell her.

Popped in for lunch today. Panini’s all round and very tasty. Got a lovely warm welcome from Owen and his team. Homemade tray bakes looked lovely too- must return for those. Picked up some fresh berries and, of course, some of Owens ‘must have’ jam

We went here on a recommendation. If coming from the south it can easily be missed, but don't let that put you off. It was smaller than expected but well laid out all the same. The staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent. We just had to buy some Jam and cakes to take home. Highly recommended

A Wonderful new attraction for those who search for food on the go. We had two breakfast rolls with tea and coffee and it was served well and tasted great. Owen has a great reputation in town for he is a maestro jam maker. We will be there again for sure.
