Kitty's Tea Rooms

When many catering establishments don't understand the meaning of the word 'hospitality' it is refreshing to visit a cafe where you are genuinely made to feel welcome and that nothing is too much trouble. Ten of us arrived on bikes this morning and whilst there were enough seats inside for us we would have had to sit on three separate tables. No problem. Without being asked, two very friendly members of staff carried three tables and ten chairs outside so that we could all sit together. Kitty's has long been one of our favourite cafes and today's experience confirms why. Oh, and the food was great too!

We visited here for the first time at the weekend and would definitely return. The staff were very welcoming and friendly offering excellent service. We had brunch which was made to perfection and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere inside. As new dog owners we were happy to learn that Kitty’s is dog friendly too so took our little pooch with us. The cafe was very clean and had individual hand sanitisers on every table.

Called in at Kittys Tea Rooms today with 3 friends while out cycling, great welcome from the staff, food and service was great. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Update 8th Feb 2022, stopped off after doing 30 miles on the bike, food and service still great. It's a nice little cafe to stop off at if your in the area.

So after traveling from Glasgow myself and my partner went to Kitty's Café, as my partner kept going on about it. When we arrived we parked on the main footpath just round the corner from Kitty's Café. Kitty's was easy to find as there are plants and a fence at the front. We both walked into Kitty's Café and it was cute the staff was friendly and told us they weren't doing hot food which was a shame, so we both went for cold sandwiches and a nice hot drink. We sat outside and just watched everyone go by and one off the lady's came out and asked if we want come inside as its cold. Me and my partner said were ok so the lady offered my partner a fleece which he kindly accepted, which was very nice off the lady. Kitty's Café was very clean and very busy for a Saturday afternoon. We will be coming back next time when we are down and we might leave the car at the hotel and get the train either from Liverpool or Southport. Would highly recommend Kitty's Café to anyone who is just out for the day. Pleasant service. :-)
