Cutest little tea room, popped in this morning as was a hour early for work. Lovely little place , staff are welcoming and very friendly. First time here, defintaley pop in again.

Great cuppa and homemade scone was excellent, other people's food looked amazing and all dished up by friendly helpful staff.
Came in last night for prosecco and a sharing plate of meat, cheese, pitta, olives etc. Had a lovely evening in lovely surroundings. There was music playing in the background and it was a chilled out perfect evening. We will definitely be back soon. Thanks Kitty.

Had a lovely breakfast with excellent toast & a brew. Would have been 10/10 if id have had a nice big flat mushroom on it. Cant fault it otherwise.

This place is a gem. A lovely bright and clean cafe to visit with delicious freshly prepared food and homemade cakes. Very friendly staff and excellent service. Perfectly situated to stop off after a walk through the pine woods. Will definitely be calling in again soon.
Called in at Kittys Tea Rooms today with 3 friends while out cycling, great welcome from the staff, food and service was great. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
Update 8th Feb 2022, stopped off after doing 30 miles on the bike, food and service still great. It's a nice little cafe to stop off at if your in the area.
When many catering establishments don't understand the meaning of the word 'hospitality' it is refreshing to visit a cafe where you are genuinely made to feel welcome and that nothing is too much trouble. Ten of us arrived on bikes this morning and whilst there were enough seats inside for us we would have had to sit on three separate tables. No problem. Without being asked, two very friendly members of staff carried three tables and ten chairs outside so that we could all sit together. Kitty's has long been one of our favourite cafes and today's experience confirms why. Oh, and the food was great too!
We visited here for the first time at the weekend and would definitely return. The staff were very welcoming and friendly offering excellent service. We had brunch which was made to perfection and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere inside.
As new dog owners we were happy to learn that Kitty’s is dog friendly too so took our little pooch with us.
The cafe was very clean and had individual hand sanitisers on every table.
Came here as a group of six after a walk round Formby Squirrel reserve & beach. Staff were really helpful and put a table next to the one for four so we could all sit together. They completely ignored my guide dog aswell which I appreciated.
Had a delightful and delicious afternoon tea. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Great value for money and will definitely return. Well done Kitty's Tea Room. 👏👏👏

Lovely little place super friendly staff.
I have to say the breakfast looked lovely when it arrived other than the chopped tomatoes. I think you can have fresh tomatoes or tinned but if you want tinned it has to be whole plum tomato not chopped as it looked like chutney.
The sausages couldn't be any better they were cooked perfect and tasted fantastic.
There was not enough baked beans it was a very small portion for my liking.
Mushrooms eggs and black pudding all excellent as was the door step toast.
Now the bacon was really poor. A bit colourless could maybe be cooked a little longer grilled or fried to add some colour. The main problem is it tasted off. I know it was off as I used to sell a lot of bacon in my business and now and again would get a batch that the cure had failed giving it a sort of fishy taste. One other thing that can affect bacon is if its been frozen. Bacon never tastes good if its been frozen.
So I hate to be critical and I've given this place 5 stars as with a few extra baked beans whole plum tomatoes and some fresh bacon cooked a little better this place couldnt be any better
What a lovely place with very welcoming and friendly staff great place to stop off if your on your way to or from Formy Beach and the coffee is perfect would highly recommend
Lovely coffee shop. We stopped on our way back home and eventhough I wasn't hungry I had to try the fresh brioche and scone. the girls were the nicest and looked after us superbly. good distancing and hygine measures currently in place too.

So after traveling from Glasgow myself and my partner went to Kitty's Café, as my partner kept going on about it. When we arrived we parked on the main footpath just round the corner from Kitty's Café. Kitty's was easy to find as there are plants and a fence at the front. We both walked into Kitty's Café and it was cute the staff was friendly and told us they weren't doing hot food which was a shame, so we both went for cold sandwiches and a nice hot drink. We sat outside and just watched everyone go by and one off the lady's came out and asked if we want come inside as its cold. Me and my partner said were ok so the lady offered my partner a fleece which he kindly accepted, which was very nice off the lady. Kitty's Café was very clean and very busy for a Saturday afternoon. We will be coming back next time when we are down and we might leave the car at the hotel and get the train either from Liverpool or Southport. Would highly recommend Kitty's Café to anyone who is just out for the day. Pleasant service. :-)
A wonderful tea room on a lovely boulevard. A friendly and personal place, such a big difference from homogenous chains and just what you want either on the way from the train or on the way to the beach. Delicious food. They even prepared a sausage for the dog! The best!!
Great little tea room. Really friendly staff. Had take out drinks to take on our walk then called back for bite of lunch. Good menu. Recommend it. Good Covid precautions.
This is a great place for a coffee or tea the staff are very welcoming and the food is excellent. A lovely little tearoom and a must visit. We will definitely be going back whenever we are in the area.
Went in for coffee and crusty toast with marmalade. The staff are always friendly and nothing is to much of a problem .have eaten here various times and have never been disappointed

Good coffee. Very friendly staff. Obviously not eaten there for a while during lockdown but Kitty's Breakfast was excellent and the selection of takeaway cakes is good.
Nice grub and Lovely staff. Great recommendations for visiting the local area, and you don't often get to chat about the NFL in an English tearoom! Highly recommended.
