Had a very very nice burger and chunky chips this evening.
Very friendly staff.
Haven't been for a long time as don't leave close anymore but we were en route to pick up son.
Will definitely go back.

Had a pleasant meal here while staying locally and looking for somewhere to eat a reasonably priced early evening meal. The food was plentiful and tasty, service good and staff friendly. The pub's rear garden is quite spacious with tables to seat a fair number of customers, although it could probably do with a makeover. The pub appears to be popular with locals and this gave it a lively atmosphere. If you need to take your car there is plenty of room in the car park and if using public transport there is a bus stop right outside.

Lovely location convenient for BSE and a very tidy, spacious walled garden.
Friendly & attentive staff (very helpful with tea & coffee) plus big screen showing the Wimbledon final. What's not to love? 😎

Fantastic Abbot ....and there's lager too! Large beer garden to the rear with impressive view of the church. Very comfortable garden rooms for cooler evenings. Good service. Lovely food too.

Called in for lunch with my mum on a Thursday, not too crowded so no trouble getting a table. Friendly service from the staff and only a short wait for our food to arrive.
I had the butternut squash tart and chips which was great - the pastry was especially good. Nice pint of Abbot. Mum had the pork belly with new potatoes, also good but she did need to request a steak knife to get to the bottom of it! The meat was really tender though and she enjoyed it.
Not mum's first time there and I'd certainly make a return visit too.

Excellent evening at the Woolpack watching the half cut theatre company. CV19 regulations observed really well. Nice BBQ and lovely pub garden.
