We got stovies and a ham sandwich on a bagel, and both were delicious. Lovely people running the shop, too. I'd definitely recommend it for a quick bite or a coffee.
Terrific Ice Cream: Raspberry & White Chocolate, Eton Mess, Orange Sorbet and Vegan Apple. There were about 20 varieties in total.
As we had the very last of the Rsspberry & White Chocolate, we were not charged for what was scaped out of the tub. Nice touch
It's a small shop so there will likely be a queue outside.

Came for an ice cream on a lunch break on a highlands tour. I would particularly recommend the toffee flavour. The owners were absolutely lovely. Ice cream was stunning!
We fell in love with this place when we were in Fort Augustus. Tasty soup, fantastic rolls and lovely ice cream. After going there on our first day, we ended up going back every day. On our last day, we even cut short a trail run on the higher Great Glen Way to make it back in time for a final cup of their soup! Lovely food and genuine, welcoming owners. We would highly recommend. Thank you!
Delicious and well-priced (for the area) sandwiches. I had the roast beef and my friend had the chicken and mushroom baguette, both were delicious and very filling. The owners were lovely and we enjoyed sitting in the window overlooking the canal. Highly recommend.

Lovely little Café near the lock gates.
Lovely and welcoming staff as soon as you go in and has a lovely selection of small bites and cakes.
They also have good sized ice cream proteins and lovely coffee for take out aswell.
Will definitely be stopping in a few time while in Fort Augustus.
Absolutely delightful sandwiches. We stopped here on a highlands/loch ness tour for lunch. I ordered the chicken and mushroom sandwich-it was SOOO good. the bread was delicious and the flavors of the chicken and mushroom in cream sauce were impeccable. Highly recommend!
Had one of the best sandwiches I've ever had here - the salami with sharp Scottish cheddar. I had one toasted and another non-toasted - both were unreal. The owners were really friendly! If I lived nearby I would be going there everyday for lunch.

This shop was my saving grace for lunch! I was really craving a salad. I stopped in and the owners were so accommodating and made me a wonderful salad with pesto, ham, beets and chickpeas. It was delicious and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!
Great sandwiches. We had the salami and cheese on fresh bread. Really quality salami. Kids loved the ice cream.
