The best meal we've had so far in Scotland. Very flavourful food. Prompt service, very courteous staff, fun vibe. We had a lovely evening!
Recommend the Cajun Chicken (the Indian in me loved the spice!) and the Bailey's bread and butter pudding.

Edit:
Returned for a 3rd time, this is one of the best restaurants in the area - a must try if you find yourself nearby. Lunch and dinner available, and you'll find yourself returning - just make sure you save space for dessert, as they're a must try too!

Firstly, seats are limited, but it's worth the wait.
I had the steak burger, chips, and salad, it comes with a salsa sauce and you can ask for other sauce too such as mayonnaise. Really good quality meat, and overall great meal, lovely staff, and beautiful surrounding.
Might be the best place to have lunch dinner and beer in town. Nice staff
Delicious good, warm and welcoming service even in peak rush time. Will definitely recommend.
Honestly a good food place to eat, we were lucky enough to get a table but after us they had a long queue going for people to get a table. You cannot eat at the bar as well.
The food is great, it's delicious and hearty but it's a bit expensive, I'd recommend taking the Cullen skink soup which is great and the steak and ale pie, they were the best in my opinion.
The service is lovely there and all the waitresses we had were delightful and extremely nice even though it was a really busy place.
The only downside is the price, for two starters, two mains and a dessert we paid 80£ which is a bit on the higher side of things
Warm cozy pub. Perfect for a rainy night. The haggis was great. So was the Cullen skink. Great house cider as well. Very friendly and helpful service and good prices. Highly recommend. Not sure the hours are accurate
One of the best meals of my life. I had the fajitas for the main and my friend had haggis, needs and tatties. Absolutely delicious but the star of the show was the haggis fritters. They were incredible and easily one of the best dishes I have ever tasted. The service was friendly and welcoming and the food was served quickly despite it being busy. A superb experience😃
Best food we had! Great price- 2 main meal for 1.
The staff very friendly and the place is nice and clean.
Busy I mean packed, normally a sign of the quality of the establishment, so do not let the name fool you.
Well planned out, efficiently running restaurant.
It does mean that the person putting drinks or the food on your table may differ time to time but it'll be a swift and pleasant experience.
Staff know their stuff, smiles all around, fair prices, great tasting food, generous portions not overly but rather in that 'just right' range. We came in famished, left full-bellied and not skint. We couldn't even think of anything bad to say.
We'll be coming back.
Call ahead to confirm availability.
Exactly what we wanted when escaping the rain....lovely warm pub with cosy atmosphere, hearty tasty food, great choice of drinks and excellent service.
We shared 3 starters between two and there was plenty. The starters were high. Great value for money and so yummy.
