returned two nights ago for lunch and service was very friendly and helpful. Really good food as always and not as noisy - returning tonight for dinner.

10% optional fee added to your order, which is off-putting as I feel this pressures vulnerable and anxious people into tipping, though the staff and food is deserving of 10% if not more.
First visit: Food is served until 9:00 pm during the week day, 9:30 pm on the weekend.
I had steak and fresh peppercorn with house chips. The steak was cooked perfectly - by default comes medium rare. Chips are fried fresh and have a good crunch.
The desserts look great and taste wonderful.
Had a wonderful fish and chips at this restaurant. Fish was done just perfect. The batter was a little bit greasy so when coming here would recommend getting the gluten free fish and chips. The staff are really attentive and friendly and will help you out with whatever quieres you may have about the food and Fort William too. Would recommend

Very friendly staff. We get in on 8:30PM and had to wait half an hour to have a table. They gently proposed us to wait at the bar of the restaurant. Typic scottish food, very tasty. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a beautiful terrace with a view on the lake. Booking recommended.

Had to mark down on food as portion of Cullen Skink soup was very small and had very little haddock in there.
Only 1 small butter given for 2 pieces of bread.
Menu stated crispy bread, it was not.
For £9.99 for the soup, I expected better, it did however taste good.
Fish and chips looked great. If I went again, I'd try that. Looked like a good size portion to.
At the moment, they have a 4.2 rating and deserve more! Hence, our 5.
Busy place, Nice atmosphere, good choice of music, whiskeys and beers, we particularly enjoyed the haggis, burgers look and are great too. Prices are friendly and perfect for the quality you're getting. Staff is friendly, but a little busy as the place was completely full.
Tip for the owner: make a whiskey list with a short description of what you're getting, so tourists know what to pick.
Modern gastro pub that also has a drinks only side to the building too. There is an outdoor deck that is open till 10pm which is perfect on a nice day. No screens for sport. Dog friendly which the outdoor deck is suitable for.
Great outside terrace for a few well deserved post hike pints, dog friendly too.
Food was very nice and the kids meals were a good size. Good selection on beers. Will visit again. The queue for drinks in the whiskey bar was long but that wouldn't deter me from going again. Could do with another member of bar staff.
We enjoyed lunch at the Ben Nevis Restaurant Fort William. The meals were very tasty and the service was great and prompt. A good place for great coffee and a quick bite to eat.
Got the venison lasagna and cheesecake for dessert which were both very nice. Portions were pretty big. Personal was very kind. You should expect to have to wait to be seated (at least for dinner) but you can sit in the bar and wait.
Amazing food and service! Staff were super friendly and welcoming and the food was hot and fresh, everything needed after a day of exploring! Thanks guys. Would defs come back!
