Had dinner here last night, really enjoyed the mixed nuts and olives to start while we had a glass of wine. Then onto a lovely small plate of asparagus and panko coated poached egg, looked great and tasted great. I opted for the Fish of the day and it was cooked to perfection. Loved the courgette flower with the prawn mousse. Husband had a lovely mushroom pizza. We even managed desserts which did not disappoint. Loved the atmosphere, especially for a Tuesday night, cant wait to go for coffee and cake during the day. All staff were a delight and very helpful. Great job Emma
Just had my 1st taste of IV10, a few friends have been and it definitely didn't disappoint, we decided to have lots of the small plates, from fish to mushrooms and lots of fab tastes, the menu is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and not overbearing, whether your local or looking for somewhere new to try...... Go here!
We visited this place with a dog. It was not a problem at all, they have cute little extra garden house outside with a heater. Staff was helpful and pleasant. We liked the food a lot, we tried pizza with chorizo, charred potatoes and hummus. Everything was really delicious and we were super happy
Amazing food throughout the whole menu! Superb service from lovely humans. Inventive and refreshing while cleverly utilizing the seasonal ingredients. Dishes include: corn ribs, lamp and hummus, pumpkin seed pesto red onion pizza, blue maize aubergine, chorizo, potatoes with salsa Verde. Soft drink was excellent: blackcurrant and basil. Not pictured excellent cakes: bram-brac and carrot cake.
Just happened upon this place, but it is absolutely worth a special trip! The food was incredible, with a menu that rotates each day to accommodate the fresh ingredients the chef has on hand. Service was great and ambience was fabulous. We walked in with a party of 5 for lunch and they were able to seat us immediately in an adorable outdoor private cabin. Best food I’ve had in Northern Scotland!
We only had hot chocolate and cake and sat outside in their very nice garden. First time, we've had a hot chocolate menu though! 😄 Very good service, lovely surroundings, good hot chocolate, only minor complaint was the cake was a little dry but still tasted lovely! ☺️
We eat here whenever we are in this area. Probably my favourite food place. Their delicious food is always utterly rammed with flavour. We have never had a bad experience here, it is consistently excellent. We tend to have a few "mains" and share. It's that kind of place - you can eat in a "tapas" kind of way.
Edited: been eating here for 3 years now and never a bad experience- the last time however - yesterday - probably the best yet. How can you get better? I don't know but I simply didn't want the meal to end it was that good and I also took some of the Hummus away as a takeaway and had it for breakfast the next morning with toast. Simply delicious!! Thank you! Best place in UK! In my opinion x
One of my favorites! The food is fresh and the variety is amazing. They also allowed us tailor our order to fit what we like as well. We ordered a little bit of everything.
Shared a fabulous dinner in the very welcoming surroundings of IV10. Friendly and welcoming service, warm and inviting atmosphere, and importantly interesting and delicious food and drinks. Wanted to try everything on the menu, which leaves many reasons for a return visit! Would definitely recommend.
It is a very long time since I have been so excited about a meal. The food was delicious, tasted fresh and the combination of flavours was just inspired. The plates are much larger than tapas and what you can't finish they very kindly pack up for you to take home. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Spotted IV10 while out on a motorcycle run earlier this year and thought it looked like a worthwhile stop sometime in the future.
At a loose end we decided to take a drive over to the Black Isle for a spot of lunch today. Stupidly, we never booked in advance and it looked at first like we'd have to wait for a table. Luckily though one became free as we asked.
The staff were all very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Amazingly varied menu which made it hard to choose from. Everything that we ordered was beautifully presented and very tasty. Finished off with a cracking flat white.
You can have everything from coffee and cake to full sit down menus and they serve alcohol too.
Definitely a go to place if you are in the area.
Emma and her team have built an exceptionally beautiful place that is worth visiting and spending some time on - be it for the great food, the wonderful coffee, or the tiny little details strewn across the place. Been a while since I've been to a place that has breathed so much charisma and joy.
