What a find! We'd had limited success in finding decent vegan meals in the NE whilst on holiday but here they had seitan wings on the menu and did us a cracking meal with no notice. We booked for another night and they took the challenge and delivered above and beyond our expectations. Now that's a real chef.
Add to that a lovely ambience- nice decor, woodburner, cracking soundtrack, huge whisky menu, great staff, Jim as mein host- and you have the makings of two great nights.
Thanks so much, you guys, for really looking after us. We will most definitely be back.
