Fantastic. We had early dinner with two adults, one baby and a 5yr old. Because the menu is short and changes daily it's a bit of a gamble but it really paid off. If kids aren't a consideration I'd recommend it unreservedly.

Great staff, great ambience. I probably wouldn't recommend for a group of more than 4 due to the size of the place, but if you're a couple or flying solo, prepare for the best lobster you've ever tasted.

The atmosphere is smart but very casual. Its all good quality and zero pretension. Carefully selected wine list of small organic vineyards. The menu was small, focused, fresh and local. Absolutely stunning. Service immaculate without being overwhelming. This is a gem of a restaurant.

Fantastic food and drink. Simple menu with a fish focus. More of a couples place than for kids

We ate here on Friday as a last minute walk in. Rosie was incredibly welcoming and personable, answering all our questions and indulging our curiosity. Thank you for making our evening! The food itself was as good as the welcome! Lobster absolutely divine, lamb succulent and flavourful and the cauliflower and crab starter something I will remember for a while - rendered us all speechless for a couple moments. Really nice surroundings, appropriate music and excellent food. Well worth the prices. Thanks to the chefs and Rosie!

I managed to get a dinner reservation here and it was the perfect choice for us. The service was friendly and prompt and the food was delicious. We had the cod roe, courgette, lobster and chicken followed by baked custard and chocolate cake. The venue is small and makes for a great atmosphere and the open kitchen helps too, it’s been done really well. Our only slight negative was that the menu was fairly limited and although it was all really tasty (probably as a result of not over extending to a convoluted menu) it would have been nice for the one meat option to have been something other than chicken. I think that’s just the luck of the draw though as the menu is changed daily, which is also really unique and interesting. There were also no diet or sugar free soft drinks (apart from water) and one choice of beer (but it was a nice one apparently!) Regardless, would definitely recommend.

Fitzroy is a well-regarded restaurant set up in an old bank in the pretty port town of Fowey pronounced Foy 🙄 Soak up the vibe; posho in deck shoes, tied sweater worn over shoulders, second homer 🤦 £140 for an early dinner for 2 with 1 x glass of wine. We left feeling the mucho dinero experience was OK. Could have eaten the other half of what was a small lobster.

What a great place! We had half lobster with new potatoes, yum! The lamb was great, too! Service was perfect. We were upstairs and had a great view of the restaurant and kitchen, great to see the chefs at work. If you’re in Fowey, and want a funky atmosphere and amazing food, come here! 😊

Pop Up restaurant called North Street kitchen by the owners of Fitzroy. Amazing seafood, in particular the bread and mussels

Wow - A real hidden gem Stumbled across this place last weekend. Amazing quality food, super friendly staff, great decor and ambience. Yes it's chilly (might be interesting in the winter) but heh, that's a small price for the amazing food and location / staff. Will definitely return. A must go to place on the south coast.
