We had a fabulous meal last night. It was fantastic to see Indian cuisine being taken into the ‘fine dining’ space and we thoroughly enjoyed both the superb presentation and the amazing taste of all the dishes. The use of spice and the subtle flavours that came across in every dish was simply stunning.

We usually get a take away rather than eat in the restaurant, but I have eaten in the restaurant previously. Its very large with classic decor with a live fire and spotlessly clean. The waiters are very helpful and attentive, and always greet you on arrival/departure and hold the door open for you. As I said we usually get a takeaway every couple of weeks or so. We always collect and it usually takes 20 mins from order. The food is always tasty, well cooked and hot. The dishes are never overly greasy. I recommend the lamb as it is never chewy or fatty and literally falls apart in your mouth. Always a decent amount of meat in the dishes and fresh spices e.g. Cinnamon sticks, cloves, cardamon pods etc. Good selection of dishes on the menu. On the rare occasion that the take away has been delayed on collection they offered me a bottle of beer whilst I waited and were extremely apologetic. This is not the nearest indian restaurant to where I live but I still prefer to come here for my meals. Best Indian in Royston.
Had dinner here after playing golf, the tiger prawn is great, and the environment is quite nice.
