Common Room - Framlingham - Photo album

Came in for a mother daughter day, we had the quiche and pancakes with bacon and syrup, very good value for money and portion size was great, will definitely be coming back.
I can't recommend this cafe highly enough! It was busy, but we were warmly greeted immediately on arrival and shown to a table. The person who served us was really lovely and service was excellent. Our veggie breakfasts were absolutely delicious and the cappuccinos were great too. The prices were ve
Great find serving good choice of food in a quirky setting. Loved the fact that the music was from their own record collection. May vinyl records live on forever :). Staff were friendly and the toilets clean. Was early lunch when we arrived with plenty of room but soon filled up so bear that in mind
Have been a few times, and the service and food are always exceptional. Recently had the field mushrooms on sourdough and wow! Better than 99% of restaurant meals I've had in the last 6 months. Always great songs playing on the record player, staff always friendly and happy to help. Great stop for b
I come here as a quiet breakfast treat every few months. The staff are always lovely, I can spend ages just looking at the decor or wondering whose record I'm listening to (all music via turntable in cafe), and I know the food will be delicious. Thoroughly recommend the full English, the eggs Benedi
FANTASTIC!! Brilliant service and food 👌 the first time I have ordered bacon 🥓 and it has ever been served ACTUALLY crispy! The hot chocolate was beautiful too. If you are in the area HIGHLY RECCOMEND visiting!
We discovered the Common Room while In Fram for a funeral. Although we only called in for coffee the cheese scones tempted us we weren’t disappointed they were delicious, one of our party said it was the best cup of tea he had ever had in a cafe. Lots of people enjoying breakfast which all looked v
We had the most wonderful Lamb pie with a great selection of veg, we were deliciously full but managed to squeeze in a bread and butter pudding with a jug full of custard...Will definitely be back when we are in the area...thanks for a wonderful meal.
Absolutely love this place! By far the best café I've been to in all of Suffolk! The ambiance is chilled and trendy, with a relaxed vibe. The food is effortlessly elegant in its simplicity, you can taste the high quality ingredients in this classically traditional simple menu. The staff is incredibl
Great place. Mixture of retro and quaint interior. Love the vinyl collection being played at a sensitive volume on a turntable. Good coffee, quality ingredients in both drinks and food ( the bacon on my pancakes with bacon and maple syrup was great). Young, friendly, hard working staff (it’s deserve
A Harmonious Haven at The Common Room From the moment I stepped into The Common Room, I was enveloped by an atmosphere rich with warmth and conviviality. This coffee shop is a gem, offering not only excellent service but also a unique experience that sets it apart from the rest. The staff at The C
Excellent lunch, bustling but with well observed Covid safety. The frontage is quite discrete - you need a sharp eye to spot the place, but it doesn't seem to have put customers off.
Fantastically cool place with amazing food. A local lady walked over the road to tell us how good it was and she wasn't wrong. All day breakfasts to die for. I had kipper and my daughter had eggs royale which looked amazing (she didn't share!) If you are visiting the castle or just framlingham then
Really enjoyed lunch here. Food was generous, tasty and served promptly. We’ll be back.
I visited the CRC, yesterday with a friend. I had a lovely full English breakfast, and my friend had a macaroni cheese and salad, which I’m very interested in trying next time. The people were lovely and the service was wonderful. Can’t wait to visit, again.
For a moment I didn't want to get in because from outside was feeling like another pub but a lady told me go you will not regret it....I found the most lovely place and people...amazing stuff...beautiful decorations and ambience....pictures and Lp's everywhere and very very tasteful feelings
What a fantastic place for lunch. A little gem I would recommend to anyone. We had the special, pork and leek pie, served with mashed potato and a large portion of freshly cooked veg. We couldn’t fault a thing
We stumbled on this gem, looking for a snack lunch, after visiting the castle, on a Sunday (shops were closed), and we decided immediately to treat ourselves to their roast beef dinner. It was the best! Lovely meat, super delicious veg choice, including baked cheesy leaks. We had to have a pud too,
Vegan breakfast is very good - huge field mushroom, home made sausage very tasty, deep fried patty of bubble and squeak is big. Extra toast on the side - came away absolutely stuffed. Loved it. Delivery of pots of tea towards the end of the meal (after a reminder) was not great, but overall it's st
