I truly am a nightmare to feed - I don't eat meat, wheat or dairy!! Poplars Farm always have food I can eat, Jacket Potato with various fillings, Glorious Salads, lush Homemade Soup, Veggie Breakfasts to die for, something on Gluten Free Toast (yesterday I was offered a choice of Brown or White GF bread), Soya Milk Lattes. The list is extensive!! Definately give it a try if you are vegan/veggie. Staff are always welcoming and accommodating, I have personally found that they will always help you with anything if they can. The log burners make both dining areas cosy and comfy. All this and you can also have a very reasonably priced decent glass of wine with your lunch!! Keep up the good work Poplars Farm.

Have been here a few times over the past month and what a lovely place! The owners are clearly working hard to get it tidied up. I can pop in- get my car washed (brilliant job for £5), have a coffee and the children can play outside. I have also been over for breakfast for the past three weeks! Brilliant quality products topped with a perfect farm fresh yellow yoker! Yummy cakes to be purchased in the shop along with a florists too. Really doing a fab job guys, me and my family all enjoy popping in.

Sarah, Mike and Jess run the cafe brilliantly. We sat outside for Father's Day breakfast, a really busy day for them, but the food came out super fast, was amazing quality and good portion sizes (as always!). Love that it is dog friendly inside and out. Got to see the pigs and donkeys on site. The kids could play in the play park. My all-time fave place to come for breakfast 😋

This visit to Poplars Farm was a Christmas present. We were given the cream tea style Sunday roast. It was fabulous. We didn't know what to expect. It was very unusual with an Italian style bread starter the main course was a serving on beef pork and turkey roast potatoes and roast root veg. Followed by sherry trifle scones jam and cream and a slice of cake and pot of tea. We were supplied with take out boxes for what we couldn't eat. The place is dog friendly too which always scores high in my book Thoroughly recommend

My girlfriend treated me and my parents to lunch. While everyone had ham egg and chips, after seeing a burger on the menu I needed to try it out to review here (Google maps) What can I say other than amazing. The bacon is sourced locally with 2 thick rashers. The burger was good and it was nicely presented in the bun. Very reasonably priced at £10 + £2 for the bacon. Will be back for another visit soon 😊

Lovely cafe, been visiting here for years. Do a fabulous cooked breakfast, various nice lunches and a good array of cakes. They are consistently good and never fail to please. Afternoon visits are less atmospheric as they are clattering, banging and cleaning around your feet and our visits have been spoiled. Why not close half an hour earlier so customers can enjoy their visit and you can do the necessary?

The sausages are AMAZING! The pigs are a delight. Would highly recommend sitting outside. It was uncomfortably loud inside - we could hardly hear each other as tables nearby were being so loud. Don’t know if it’s the acoustics of the room, or they were ridiculously loud groups, but it really dented the experience. So - save yourselves that and sit outside is my tip!

First time here and really enjoyed it. Granddaughter loved the pigs also. Excellent food, the log burner made it lovely and warm. Also visited the shop and bought various meats

This place is absolutely fantastic. Everything was so perfect and it is a place I would recommend for any age. As soon as you walk in the atmosphere hits you straight away. It is very welcoming, relaxed and warm, with lots of smiles. The cafe is off the main road but it has a sign outside so you know where to go. We ordered the quiche of the day and a burger meal, both were cooked fresh and tasted amazing. It took somewhere between 15-20 minutes to arrive. The staff were also extremely accommodating and helpful. The cafe took card, cash and contactless forms of payment. The cutlery, condiments and serviettes are placed on a free stand at a 90 degree angle between the door and till. There is enough choice of food to choose from and also vegan options. There are some fantastic deserts and scones, cream and jam. The drinks menu consists of teas, coffees and soft drinks. The cafe is big enough to dine in with a group of people. I also saw a reserved sign on one of the tables therefore I think the cafe may reserve a table for you. However I would check this though. Outside there are teepee tent stands with seating underneath. Therefore you may also choose to sit outside on a nice day. There is a small play area for children and a little area where there are some pigs, although they are fenced off. This is a great place to see as its really picturesque too, lots of green landscape to look out on. The cafe has wheelchair access on entry and exit. There is a free parking area next to the cafe too. I'm so pleased we came across this little gem but the real credit goes to Sam's Woof Wash company for recommending it to us.

Visited for a roast today. Staff made us feel very welcome and accommodated some last minute table changes and fussy toddlers. The food was really good, really nice roast, great potatoes and plenty of gravy. Dessert was afternoon tea style and was excellent. To top it off there's a great space outside for the kids to run around. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice all day breakfast. Good quality ingredients. Normally a disappointment with breakfasts, the sausage, is the star here. Delicious.
