As always beautiful authentic lovely homemade food, absolutely delicious!!!!.... served by lovely welcoming and cheerful staff, can't fault this place at all.....been coming here for almost 15 years.....never ever had a disappointing meal ever....would highly recommend to anyone!!! ��� xx

We used to visit this restaurant every week before emigrating to Australia, however every year we return and we are never let down. Amazing food service exceptional from Mohammad and the team if you want a good Indian food with great service this your number one.

Our favourite food place ever. Whether we choose to take out or sit in we are never disappointed! Take out is always amazing, can never fault. Sitting in, service is the best you will receive. Extremely accommodating and friendly. Such a peaceful and calm atmosphere. Food is the best we always look forward to our regular dates here. Cannot fault one bit. Highly recommend.

6/5 stars for this place. Covid Safe! Floor to ceiling dividers between tables, servers always wearing masks, many sanitizer stations near the entrance. The food is also spectacular and copious. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a quality meal and date atmosphere while being Covid safe.

Fantastic! The take out meal was absolutely amazing and delicious. I got the Tandoori Cocktail that had plenty of meat in but only a single King Prawn (Found that a little strange, hopefully a mistake) as I will be ordering the dish again regardless! The front of house girl was super polite while I was waiting. 5 Star!

Mine and the family's first time in Durham and of course we fancied going out for a curry. Luckily we didn't have to look far with this restaurant as it was just round the corner from the Premier Inn we stayed in. Reviews looked good. It was very quiet when we got there but we had nothing to fear as the food was absolutely amazing. I had the lamb bhuna, sister had chicken tikka masala, parents had chicken vindaloo and uncle had a chicken jalfrezi. Everything was just impeccable, amazing taste. We wolfed the food down and probably would have gone back for seconds! Naans were lovely and crisp instead of stodgy like from other places. Just gorgeous all round. Staff were also very friendly and accommodating. 10/10 would return and recommend.

Went for takeaway twice while we were staying in Newton Hall. Very friendly service, comfortable surroundings and excellent food (as always). While I was waiting a regular arrived for their food who was not in the best of health and the staff were genuinely concerned for her and offered their support and aid. Another customer in the restaurant spilt a drink and within seconds staff were at their side assisting in every way they could. Will definitely visit again!
