Harbord Diggers

I had the best Friday lunch meeting last week, my event organiser, and closest friend Brooke and I needed to discuss all things for a pending huge event I am organising so we headed off to the Diggers 💙🍷💙⁣ ⁣ I love the Harbord Diggers and I need to make this very clear, it's a kind of local, I am a member and I want to retire into the units above. It has the most beautiful courtyard you can sit, eat, and drink the arvo away.⁣ ⁣ Which is what we did for a 2hr lunch. The Pepperjack Wine rosé was senbloodysational and I could have ordered another bottle!! 🍷🍷⁣ ⁣ The food was ok but really bland and this was disappointing - it was almost flavourless, and neither of us have had Covid and destroyed our tastebuds. We got the food (I think) from the Diggers and from Teddy Larkins (they have multiple food outlets) - we ordered from our phones, but please introduce the chef to salt and pepper and it would make a world of difference. I want to come back and have a mind-blowing meal - I mentioned it to some friends and a couple agreed at having the same issue. 🧂🌶⁣ ⁣ 𝘐𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭, 𝘢 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘪𝘨𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘴!!⁣ ⁣ Anyways I will return as I do love the Diggers and Bau Truong is AMAZING - they were closed sadly!!⁣ And the coffee was really good too!!

Love it here. Perfect spot for breakfast lunch or dinner. Food and drinks are all good. Order your food from your table via the app. Go for a coastal walk or beach walk afterwards. Only $12 to join (5 year membership). Parking downstairs or sometimes street parking. My friends enjoy it because there is dog friendly seating.

Such a great facility and fantastic to have it in the Northern Beaches. Took my daughter for a party at the children's play centre. It's the third time we've been and I was impressed every time. Well organised, plenty of food & drink options, friendly helpful staff. There is plenty of parking under the building or out the front overlooking the sea. Beautiful setting.

Well worth a visit.. 2 restaurants plus a bistro menu, nice bar! . Good outdoor seating on a sunny day. Lots of indoor nooks to sit at and enjoy nice conversation as a group. Service is good at both bar and food outlets. I've had meals on 2 occassions the latest from the bistro. Overall I'd rate the food 6 out of 10. I suppose with covid they might have new kitchen staff.. lots of room for improvement, presentation is good but flavour lacks.
