Himalayan Restaurant

Food arrived well before order time and was piping hot. Rice was light and fluffy, veg was exceptional ( I recommend the tarka dall and I am a reall carnivore) The mono were just perfect and the chutney I could drink in a pint glass. The pork fry was succulent and a real treat. Bread was done to perfection. Outstanding for real fans of Nepalese food.

Spot on. I must say they take time but it's worth it. It's worth a wait, their seekh kebab, thali set whatever you choose or momos, man they are a killer. If anyone know of the chatpate, try it. You will be praising it all your life. The speciality, I must say. They have magic in their hands, It reminds me of home made food. Love you guys, keep it up.

Our family has been living in the area for 18 years and rarely chooses to eat at local Asian restaurants as they most often cater to a white palate, which speaking generally, significantly reduces all flavour, taste, excitement and pleasure. As it was a special occasion, we decided to order takeaway here and were very impressed. My mother is hard to please when it comes to authentic Asian food, but she hailed the lamb biryani as immaculate, craving more after she finished her plate. We ordered many items, but the keema naan and lamb biryani were standouts (which I wholly recommend to any keen purveyors of home-cooked Asian food). The biryani itself is one of the tastiest I've had in this country for a long time. The portions were substantial, but the flavour excelled above everything else. Price wise, it is expensive but isn't everything in this area? However, I'd happily pay for this again. The one staff member that I did meet was also very welcoming and friendly. Speaking frankly, this is the only restaurant I will actually go back to in the area. Thanks guys
