A little gem in Frinton... always a great welcome from hard working staff. Lovely place to chill outside in the sunshine on a Sunday morning with a nice breakfast. Thank you all. We will come back again soon.
A typical workingmans cafe, with a nice view of the high street. I went here for a full english and time to read my book and watch the world go by while my wife was paddling in the sea.
The place is clean and tidy, if a bit worn.
The food is good, if they had better quality sausages it would make it amazing!.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, so TBH what more do you need?
I found myself just sitting by the window and watching the world go by.. and the traffic warden on the prowl for expired parking tickets, as a nice diversion when you're on your own.
I will definitely be coming back here the next time I'm in the area.
Tell me thats not a perfect traditional breakfast! Pic says it all.
First time here today WOW proper English cafe polite , calm , great bubble & squeak took me back to my childhood.
Food good quite a good menu plenty of home type cook food good portions
Absolutely lovely - my Dad's been coming here for years but my first time. Didn't disappoint - had huge mountain of bubble and squeak, fried egg, mushroom, onions and tomatoes. Plenty of brown sauce and they even put scissors with the condiment sachets so you didn't have to use your teeth - lovely touch! Fab staff and excellent service - can't wait to go back!!!👍
Wow, popped in with a friend for a breakfast. Worth the wait . Freshly cooked ,piping hot . Tasted great . Service with a smile as well . Returning very soon .
Very reasonably priced for a high street cafe, not the biggest of portions, and the privacy for a good chat. But worthy of 4 of my stars, the staff were lovely.
Well done to all concerned at Fred's cafe.
Food was fine, apart from my friends dry veggie burger.
Tasty food. Good service, with a smile.
Everything you would want from cafe.
