Cracking warm little old fashioned pub in Frodsham, very tidy and a great atmosphere food was great and staff and locals were very friendly

I haven't personally had the food but I've been with friends who have eaten while I was with them and the food looked amazing. Only 2 stars for service due to recent new staff - have asked one particular member of staff for a Real Cider twice now and she laughed at me thinking I was joking. Then proceeded to stare at me like I was going to order something else. Sad really as the usual staff I've dealt with are very good with orders. Atmosphere you can't go wrong with. Live music on certain days, sports events streamed, never a bad person in there (when I've visited anyways). Manager is great and have spoken to him many a time.

A very enjoyable lunch served by friendly staff (Joe) in a timely manner. The meal was excellent and reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.

Plenty of seating, nice atmosphere in and outside. Good music, they had a DJ on who was very friendly and i think was running the quiz.
Bar staff were really nice.
Parking nearby.

Ate here for my husband's birthday. He had the mixed grill and I had the lasagne. Both meals were outstanding. The lasagne was the best I have ever had. All the meats on the mixed grill were so juicy and perfectly cooked. Shout out the chef....

Myself my daughter and her boyfriend had a meal here this afternoon been the 9/9/23 and the meal was fantastic, the atmosphere of the public house was again fantastic and amazingly clean throughout keep up the great work please I will certainly be going back again no doubts

Called to get permission to park our motorhome overnight. The owner was so friendly and accommodating, lovely guy. Had an excellent meal and a drink at very affordable prices. The bar was quite busy but service was good, they are also dog friendly. Would surely recommend and return.
