I come here to walk the dog during lockdown as I generally avoid golf courses when people are playing. I'm not a golfer either but I was really impressed with this beautiful course. I'm not in a position to comment on the state of the greens a nd fairways but they looked fantastic to me. The views around the course are stunning.

As I beginner to Golf I enjoyed the course. The holes are great and the views are nice. Even as a beginner though I noticed that the greens need to be improved.

Played today. Course was In immaculate state. Fairways have recently been cut carrying your ball an extra 30 yards. Greens are the best I've ever seen. Super fast. Like putting on glass. money well spent

I am a former member here and have heavily criticised this course. I played a few weeks ago and have to say really enjoyed and improvements are there to be seen. Yes there is still work to do, the tee boxes are very poor and the greens although improved have work to do. The fairways are outstanding and the pace of play is generally very good. I hope the improvements continue and Paul the owner doesn't allow this to slip. If this is maintained this can and should be one of the best in cheshire. Lot of work to go but the location and layout is unrivalled.

Huge amount of work been done on the course over lockdown to improve tee boxes and greens. Course is set in stunning scenery that makes for a good technical challenge with variety in shots needing to be hit. Greens are coming on nicely but not perfect (yet!) Won’t find better views and challenging course tee to green. Great value at <£20pp. You will always play more to play other local courses without the scenery and interest of the course. Once the clubhouse is back open and the greens have been rolled a bit more will be a standout course once again.

Lovely friendly golf course whether you take yourself (too) seriously or not. The course has improved loads since last year after an issue with the greens and fertiliser. The first few greens are still thickening out so have a little bounce but improve thereafter. I played Carden park at three times the price a week before and it was sodden. Ignore the older reviews and don't be put off.

Played this course about a year ago and the greens where unplayable, was really pleased to see there’s been a massive improvement to them and some good work done on the course in general. Really enjoyed my round and will visit again soon

Great golf course very friendly members and Grayham Tong the club professional is great to deal with and friendly staff in the club house, what more could you want in a golf club. Played today 6/6/2020 the golf course is a tough test of golf long par 4s and great par 5s and challenging par 3s the fairways are great and the greens have come on in leaps and bounds over the last week or so now we have had some rain l would recommend any body to book a game at Frodsham you should not be disappointed and would do well to break par .....keep up the good work to all the ground staff and to Paul

Really good condition for this time of year, greens where a bit wet but in great condition considering the time of year. Interesting layout of holes with some difficult holes as witnessed by my scorecard (sic)! Nice views from all the holes. Some good winter deals still to be had.

Good golf course but found it so boggy due to weather. It needs to be closed for a week to give it a chance to improve. Buggies should be band as our buggy just sank in the soft ground and had to push it out a good few times. Love the course thou.
