We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Full Moon Inn and our experience was excellent. The staff were notably friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Unique touches, such as the plantable pencil provided, added to the overall positive experience. Both dinner and breakfast were of exceptional quality. Highly recommended.

Where do we start. What a fantastic little hidden treat. First impressions were high and our stay didn't dissapoint. Our hostess Eve was truly accommodating, friendly, helpful and the service was phenomenal. A small country pub where when you see the locals smiling and relaxed in the bar and garden. You know you are on to a winner. The room was both homely and luxurious with tasteful modern fittings and with the bed being incredibly comfortable. The local ale was great as was was the evening meal. The breakfast also was of a high standard. We will definitely be staying again. Will highly recommend to anyone that will listen. Julie & Chris

The hospitality of the staff is second to none, they were so friendly and accommodating. I arrived late and they arranged a ploughman’s platter for me and were so kind. The bar is lively and friendly, shout out to Eve and the chef Gareth for going above and beyond for a weary traveller. The rooms are modern and have all you need, good hairdryers, modern bathrooms, a small desk and plenty of plugs/USB points. All fresh and cleanly decorated. The room got a little warm through the night, but there was a fan. Breakfast was so good, generously sized and good quality food.

Been meaning to go here for a while and I'm glad we finally did! Beautiful country pub and garden. Staff are great, cider selection is good, and just everything about the place is beautiful and well thought out. Loads of parking too. We'll certainly be back, and would highly recommend to others.

Lovely Inn off the beaten track for us wandering Australians. Booked last minute. Richard was awaiting our late arrival took our order for breakfast. Breakfast was lovely with cooked and continental and even Bloody Mary ingredients which is unheard of in any of our experience! Great edition and option to the table!! Loved that the plugs in room had both usb and c outlets. Big walk in shower and bath. Coffee/tea and comp biscuits in room.

Had a lovely pint of local kicking goat cider which was one of the best ciders I have ever had. Staff extremely welcoming and knowledgeable telling us that this use to be a cider brewery. The garden was amazing with a veg patch which they use in the kitchen and lovely views over to the white horse.

Lovely roast dinner! We booked a late sitting, so they were running out of some of the meat, but we happily accepted a mix of meats to make up the portions, which were very generous! Friendly staff, excellent service.

Cycled out for an evening meal and met with friends who stayed for the night in their motorhome, with the manager's consent. Great beer garden, a great sun trap for the summers evening. A good selection of drinks and the menu offers good quality food, not a great deal of choice, but carefully selected to provide a great tasting dish. We opted for fish and chips and mint peas and leek risotto, both freshly cooked and very delicious. The pub was busy and service was good, though there was a wait for the food, but worth waiting for. The interior of the pub is very charming, full of character and quirks. Will be coming back again on our bikes.

Absolutely stunning, I've found paradise for sure. This is the most beautiful setting and B&B I've stayed in. The staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable with top end fixtures and stunning views. The village is so beautiful with lots of lovely walks. The food was amazing and reasonable priced. I will be staying here again and I would definitely recommend The Full Moon.

We booked a large table and were seated in the events room, it was a lovely room with plenty of space between tables. The menu was quite small which I prefer as makes choosing easier, but there was still a good choice. The quality of the food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed their meals. Staff were brilliant and very helpful
