What an incredible tasting experience. We popped in on our way home. It is a lovely little pub with a farm shop out the back. Different quirky places to sit and a great deal.on 2 courses if you book in advance. The food was to die for. My favourite dish was the mushrooms on toast with mushroom ketchup. Portion sizes are very reasonable and we had to ask for a takeaway box. It is on the expensive side for us (4 adults, 2 courses each cost £175 including tip) but all our dishes were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Wth this quality and level of detail, it was worth the price.

My daughter and I visited The Black Horse for lunch yesterday. We both had the roast beef which was top notch. The beef was really flavoursome and it came with lots of potatoes/vegetables. All the staff were very helpful and it was certainly service with a smile. Overall, great roast, fab service and certainly worth the extra few pounds. Would thoroughly recommend!

We held a family function here. Venue was lovely. Parking available and easy to find. Little park for the children. Ordered food for 50 people. Wouldn't say it was worth the cost but it is what it is. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely young lad serving on the outside bar very helpful. They didn't have enough staff for the function as well as being open to the public. Nice day though
