Wonderful cafe with cakes made by difference members of the local community. Toasties very tasty.
Wide range of cards, books and other gifts.
Excellent enterprise offering good food, and giftwares with efficient and friendly service. The only downside is the prompt for service charge on the card payment machine. Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for supporting this kind of enterprise, but the idea seems a bit in-your-face when you don't expect it. That said, on the next visit I was ready for the prompt, and (hopefully) made up for the "pass" on the previous visit. Please don't let this put you off, this business is well worth supporting, and any surcharge is purely voluntary.
This is a lovely community run centre with a cafe and a gift shop stocking things for camping, amongst other things. The cafe has the most amazing cakes. I had a slice of Doug's chocolate cake, which was incredible.
Can't say nice enough things about this place.
It's always open whatever the season and all the staff a super helpful! Told us all the best places to go and what would be open at what time. They had lots of little cards for sale showing the slaking routes in the area which turned out to be really useful. + Free WiFi.
Cafe food was good to, with nice warm cupa and good tostie's.
What a wonderful place to stop have a cuppa and delicious homemade cake while enjoying the view from the deck. When you’ve finished treat yourself from the gift shop, Go Team Gale! A great community asset to the area of Gairloch.
A gorgeous setting with epic views over to skye. Great coffee, cake and light bites. Table service at the moment. The gift shop was lovely and I had to limit buying too many things. Very worth stopping as you pass.
Homemade food available. Staff are chatty
A lovely community enterprise in the middle of Gairloch, lots of local crafts and locally made cakes and biscuits inside, we sat outside in the sun with beautiful sea views, the coffee and cake were very delicious and the staff were friendly, an excellent stop on the route 500
What a great find. Awesome views. Friendly and efficient staff. Good value for money too. I had food and drink, but it's a shop as well!
Great cafe with reasonable prices and friendly staff. £5 for a Panini and £2.50 for a hot chocolate. Interesting shop with maps, books and various crafts. Well kept toilets too
