We celebrated our wedding reception at Quins this weekend. Sylvia and her team excelled in hospitality, efficiency, professionalism. The food was very tasty. We can highly recommend Quins. Thank you for making our wedding lunch special & delicious!
A nice place to go to have tea and cake but this time decided to go for an evening meal . We had a lovely welcome where we were shown to our seats the service was excellent. We didn't have to wait too long before our delicious food arrived. There was just the right atmosphere for a relaxed and enjoy

Overall it was ... nice - food is generous and homely albeit very poorly balanced dishes. I tried the Goats Cheese starter and Roast Beef as the main. Came here today for my brother's birthday.
I can honestly say that when we came in we were a bit unaware of how good the whole experience was.
I ordered the cajun chicken toasties that came with a side salad and coleslaw and my brother got a soup with a haggis starter and chips. We also had a latte
The Gala Breakfast was absolutely delicious! The bacon was good and the sausages were yummy. I’d 100% recommend it. One of the best breakfasts I have had. Thank you!

If I were forced to pick anything to criticise Quins over it is that in the eight years of regular travelling into Galashiels they somehow have managed to hide their glowing light under that proverbial bushel. Few things i had to order as extras which I think should have been in the price anyway but... I could not fault the perfect standard that each element was consistently cooked to! Good source of quality ingredients. I would go back and recommend this place.
