Beautiful area with great views and walks. Car park is big and parking machine takes Card payment. Cafe is small and felt a little crowded for a week day, but a school was currently in so to be expected. I took the red trail and spent most of my time alone, which was nice apart from a few areas wher
Fabulous day walking around this forest. Good cafe and clean toilets. Lots of walking routes but we chose to do the red one that was 4.5 miles and took us to the waterfall. Lots benches and picnic tables along the route. Some areas were hard going but beautiful views all round.

What an amazing place to visit, there was so much there. Lots of different walks for all abilities, we have a 13 year old English bull terrier that needs a dog pram we was able to use 3 of the routes that could take the pram.
