Coed y Brenin Forest Park is a true gem of natural beauty and outdoor adventure. Nestled in the heart of Snowdonia, this park offers a perfect blend of lush forests, captivating trails, and stunning vistas. Whether you're a hiker, mountain biker, or simply seeking a peaceful escape, Coed y Brenin has something for everyone. The well-maintained paths and signage make it easy to explore, and the visitor center provides valuable information and facilities. With its diverse flora and fauna, it's a haven for nature enthusiasts. Overall, Coed y Brenin Forest Park is a must-visit destination for those who appreciate the great outdoors and the tranquility it brings. 🍻

Beautiful area with great views and walks. Car park is big and parking machine takes Card payment. Cafe is small and felt a little crowded for a week day, but a school was currently in so to be expected. I took the red trail and spent most of my time alone, which was nice apart from a few areas where trails merged and by the start/end and waterfall. The trail itself took about an hour and 45 minutes to complete with a few bits of site seeings it was easy to navigate and only had two technical parts a rocky down hill sections before the waterfall and a uphill sections towards the end. Defiantly coming again to check out biking trails and bike shop

Fabulous day walking around this forest. Good cafe and clean toilets. Lots of walking routes but we chose to do the red one that was 4.5 miles and took us to the waterfall. Lots benches and picnic tables along the route. Some areas were hard going but beautiful views all round.

The original home of Mountain Biking in the UK, every avid Rider should visit here at least once in their life 😀 Fantastic variety of Trails to suit all abilities. There's bike hire plus a great Café. There are many activities to do from walking to running. Parking is ample which you pay on exit at designated pay stations. The toilets also have showers just in case you're cold n muddy!

Great place to ride. Walk, gang out access some great cycle trails. A range of difficulty from world cup to introduction to off road cycling. Shop is not too bad. Although cycle hire top end prices. Cafe is great with pleasant staff and the visitors centre and information is informative. Well worth stopping in or planning a visit as something for everyone . Playground is ok and parking reasonable.picnic space all around.

What an amazing place to visit, there was so much there. Lots of different walks for all abilities, we have a 13 year old English bull terrier that needs a dog pram we was able to use 3 of the routes that could take the pram. The last route had two amazing waterfall half way round, we did have to use another carpark but it is still in the forest park.

If you're looking for a scenic and refreshing walk in the Welsh countryside, you might want to check out the Coed y Brenin Forest Park waterfall walk. It's a circular route that takes you through the forest and past several waterfalls, some of which you can walk behind. The walk is about 5 miles long and takes around 3 hours to complete. The path is well-marked and easy to follow, but it can be slippery and muddy in places, especially if it has rained recently. I would recommend wearing walking boots and bringing a waterproof jacket. The walk is not suitable for small children, as there are some steep sections and steps along the way. You also need to be careful near the waterfalls, as they can be powerful and dangerous. The walk starts and ends at the Coed y Brenin Visitor Centre, where you can find a nice cafe, a gift shop, a bike hire shop, and good clean facilities. The cafe serves hot and cold drinks, snacks, and meals, and has a lovely view of the forest. The visitor centre also has information boards and maps about the park and its wildlife. I really enjoyed this walk and I would definitely do it again. It was a great way to explore the natural beauty of Coed y Brenin Forest Park and to see some stunning waterfalls. It was also a good workout for my legs and lungs. If you're looking for a fun and rewarding walk in Wales, you should give this one a try.

I’m leaving this review a week or so after visiting and it’s my second coming here to go Mountain Biking and it is an amazing place to do this. There are a range of runs, but mostly reds and blacks. A couple of blues that are great fun also, so good to start on to build confidence. They have a bike rental service and a great equipment shop to. A place to have lunch and plenty of parking. There’s no charge to ride here either apart from the parking fee which is really reasonable considering the amount of riding there is here and well maintained it is. Both times I’ve been I did a full days ride and barely did the same runs on each day. I can’t rate this place highly enough, coming from the Surrey hills I feel I know places to ride, so this isn’t coming from someone whose never been anywhere. I’m not saying I’m a pro by any stretch, but I know how to have fun on a bike. Lastly the views and scenery are absolutely stunning…
