Lovely room with amazing view of the loch. We received a very warm welcome from the staff and food was excellent. Would definitely recommend it for a stay on the loch

We have just returned from our 1 night stay here. Our room was huge with a lovely powerful shower and beautiful views over the loch. The food from dinner to breakfast was superb very well cooked and cater well for dietary requirements (mine being gluten free) will definately visit the anchor inn again. Exceptional service thank you so much. X

Two of us visited and stayed during a motorcycle tour. We found it welcoming and everyone, the staff and locals were great company. The beer was good and the chef created lovely food, breakfast was my favourite. Chris the Bar manager was the perfect host. We enjoyed our stay.

Outstanding accommodation. Fresh, spotlessly clean, and modern fitments. Lovely views across the bay and the cooked breakfast is tops. I thoroughly recommend The Anchor Inn to and and all..families, couples and solo's alike.

We only used the pub, but what wonderful people! It felt like we had always drank there. Lovely landlord. Well done. Xxx

Stayed here for 2 nights, rooms were clean and staff were all friendly. Spoke to Chris multiple times over the phone prior to booking and he was beyond helpful.

We found ourselves stranded in The Anchor Inn. Heading from an overnight stay in Arrochar on our way home to Renfrewshire & East Ayrshire. Due to extreme flooding, fallen trees & landslides, all roads were closed completely. Initially, we went into the pub for a 'comfort' break, but found a lovely wee corner (table & chairs) where we were allowed to charge our phones. We decided to order teas/coffees, which we were pleasantly surprised to find, were free of charge for everyone. Good auld Scottish hospitality at it's best. After we'd been there a few hours, we ordered ourselves some food. Two of us had burgers, and two had steak pie. All of us really enjoyed our food, (approx £15 ea). Not long after we'd finished dinner, we were informed that one road had been reopened. For us, it would be a long way round, but worth it, if it meant we could eventually get home that night. We were so grateful for the hospitality shown by The Anchor Inn, and in the future, would consider booking one of their rooms upstairs. On a nice day, it's in the most perfect location. Right by the loch side, beside the Post Office & a few shops. The staff were lovely and the place itself had a very welcoming environment. Well be back, by choice, next time 😊

We stayed here on our road trip across Highlands. Gosh! What a view this inn has! It is just fantastic. The inm has a really nice location. The hosts themselves are very warm, nice and attentive. They prebooked a table for us, to let us have a nice dinner after a long hiking day. Overall, I felt like we stayed at a good friend's place.

Booked one night at short notice to break journey home. Would have happily stayed longer! Room we had was very comfortable with everything we needed. Chris who welcomed us was also very attentive at dinner service. Would definitely recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This hotel is juat gorgeous. We booked it last minute. The staff were lovely, one barman took us to our room. After we got in we realised it was a twin and we went down to ask if there was a double. The manager Chris stopped what he was doing to help us. He found us a double bedroom instead of a twin with a gorgeous view. Alongside this at the same they booked us a table for dinner that night. Lovely table service, kept checking if we wanted drinks and how the food was. I would definitely go back for food but also to stay. Perfect little hotel for a break.
