Brilliant place. Excellent coffee, which is also buyable to take home as coffee beans or ready-ground. Really good pastries and cakes, lovely staff and a peaceful atmosphere.
The best coffee place ever.
Update Feb 2024. Very sad to learn that the cafe will close in March. But glad to know that the roastery will continue so that we can still get these awesome coffee beans!

This is a really nice independent cafe with great coffee, scones and cakes. Often busy but plenty of space. Friendly staff. Ground floor toilet. Comfortable. All ages.

They were polite and friendly and very helpful bringing your drinks etc to the table, chatty which is nice to see and smiling a lot. Could have been a bit warmer especially as it's winter and less Aircon. Thank You
