Love this place, go quite often with my sister. This time my son and grandchildren took me for tea for my birthday. The food was brilliant as always

Had a lovely breakfast this morning; good value and currently there's a 2 for 1 offer. Coffee is £1.50 with breakfast, toast and black pudding are extra but even so we only paid £12 odd for two. Many places will charge more just for a bacon butty & drinks!

Brought my mum for a Tuesday lunch. Great price at 2 meals for £11.99 and they have loads of different offers on every day. Food is nice, typical pub grub. The service is excellent and the staff are great.

Came on the 13/01/24 for my birthday meal and there was 23 of us, the staff were amazing, the chef/chefs cooking were brill and all food came out as ordered and hot, 5 stars to the chefs and 5 stars to the barman Craig ! He was so nice and helpful and the kids loved him too. Thank you for making my birthday great!

Has just had a make over and extension.
Over the years it has become more of a family pub and serves excellent quality meals at low prices.

I went here with my work colleagues for lunch in the Summer and had never been before.
I was pleasantly surprised by the inside of the pub and the choice of food on the menu. The landlady was very friendly and helpful and asked if we would like to eat inside or out as it was a lovely hot day. We said we would sit outside and there was a fantastic outdoor area made out of decking but very attractive and comfortable. We enjoyed our hot sandwiches and had a lovely quiet chat.
Afterwards we walked to the top of a mound situated behind the car park and next to the Church. It was very interesting reading about the history of the area in Barwick.
I would definitely like to go again for another meal.

I haven't eaten here (unless pork scratchings and scampi fries count), but I have shared a bottle of very fine rosé with my friend Lindsey, and been treated to a saving of 20p by the landlord because the round came to £10.20. Service with a smile is guaranteed here.
The pub itself is cosy, and the terrace area outside is great in the summer. A proper local pub, this place is inviting and friendly and a great place to while away a few hours.

If you're fancying a good hearty Sunday dinner then this is the place for you, went here at the weekend for some good hungover grub and opted for the help yourself carvery. Its good value and you can pile your plate high with mash, roasts, cauliflower cheese and all the usual veg and stuff. The meat is gorgeous and I would recommend the turkey which is melt in your mouth stuff. Its not long since been refurbished so its still all new looking inside, def worthwhile visiting for a Sunday pint and a good feed.
