Best roast dinner I’ve ever had! Freddie doesn’t look like a Freddie he looks like a joe :) Lucy also waited on us and was very pleasant :D

Very welcoming and great good served with a smile. Most excellent. Atmosphere rates at 4 only because the telly had a sports match on and the people watching very very very loud. Obviously not the fault of the place nor the staff.

It was amazing! There was a my family which was 12 people and they did well to serve us. The food was amazing! The pigs in blankets are recommended. It was my mum’s birthday and the landlady gave her a free glass of wine which was kind of her. For 12 people which was £140 which is not bad. Loved it highly recommend. Only thing was my main was 5 mins later than everyone else and on dessert my cousins were 10 mins late, but apart from that it was amazing

What a beautiful and friendly place. Stunning decor and lovely, welcoming staff. Love the fact our canine companions get their own roast dinner. Wish we were more local. It's not often you get made to feel so welcome in a public house - thank you so much

Couldn't wait to leave a review for this beautiful, cosy pub by the canal, so here I am after my last bite of an amazing Sunday roast writing this! The food was perfect, service was excellent and all staff were warm and friendly. Can't wait to come back!

We have been quite a few times here, mostly for a drunk. We have been twice over the weekend, once with our family the food was absolutely delicious. We went again yesterday with friends and again food was delucious. The young girl serving us was lovely and polite. The lady behind the bar is so lovely. All the staff are very nice and polite even when they were very busy as it was this weekend. Thank you.

Having seen Tithe Barn change hands and menus for almost 20 years, I returned to grab a bite and was pleasantly surprised. Before you eat or grab a drink the most impressive part of the Tithe Barn is it’s location. On the canal front surrounded by greenery, the building features some great decor both inside and out. Some of the original tools and equipment are still on the walls. We sat outside and we’re lucky enough to have a sunny evening. The service is a little slow and if you’re unlucky enough to be queueing when the bar staffs friends are customers, you’ll be waiting a while. The menu is simple pub food with a few specials thrown in. We tried to order table service with the QR code, but this was no longer operational. Some of the previous reviews have knocked the food, but personally I found the gammon and chips were lovely and perfectly cooked. The chicken burger looked well presented and also tasted great too. The bar featured the usual lagers on tap, with two guest beers. This time being Beavertown and a local ale. The guest beers were £4.50 each. If you’re new to Garstang, it’s a great little spot to eat or drink close to the canal. If you’re more familiar with the area and haven’t been in a few years it’s definitely worth a try. Great location, good food just let down a little by the slow service. If you’re not in a rush and pub food is your thing, I recommend Th’Owd Tithe Barn.

Walked past a few times in the past but never visited until today! Really relaxed and cheerful welcome, hassle free in finding a table and being made aware of specials. 2 Roast Beef dinners, the option to add Pigs in Blankets (who wouldn't!) Fast efficient service and the food was fantastic, could have happily eaten it again. Special mention to Abbie, great service thank you.
