We enjoyed an absolutely delicious two course special lunch menu with the option to add unlimited soft drinks until 3.00pm.
We were a little bit let down by the fact we were given the regular menus and had to ask for the lunch special.
A very young couple came in ten minutes after us when this menu was still available and weren't given the option of the lunch special menu.
Maybe it would be a better idea to advertise this offer as it would bring a much higher footfall. Especially in the current financial climate.
Decided to try Chiquito for the lunch, mocktails were really good specially the Pinacolada one!
chilli beef was okay, chicken bbq wrap was tasty too, the only thing wasn’t the nicest was the Halloumi burger, bun was cold and wasn’t even toasted/warmed up which spoiled it.
First time in chiquitos and I promise it’s not going to be the last one. The waitress was nice and friendly always asking if everything was ok, but most important, it’s has been the first time in a long of time someone asked us if we had any food allergies and I think all restaurants should ask that at the beginning to prevent difficult situations. The hygiene was amazing and everything was super clean. The food itself was quite good, I would have liked one or two extra fajitas for my filling but that was maybe miscalculation, nachos were spot on. Desserts remembered me of my churros in Spain but next time I will order with chocolate instead 😋 will repeat for sure, good price for food, ¡Gracias!
Dined here last night for tea following our shopping trip as we haven't had Chiquito's in years. Lovely atmosphere, staff were all friendly and our waitress Emily was lovely.
We shared nachos for a starter (rude not to have nachos when you're going for Mexican food!). I had the Pulled Chicken Tinga Chimichangas and my husband had the Texan Stack burger. Both were lovely. Probably a bit overpriced, but still really nice and would go again.
Good food, friendly staff although a bit expensive and might not be worth the price. I would go back but this restaurant couldn't become a regular stop on my shopping trips at the metro centre as £50 for lunch seems to high a price (2 adults and a child).
We like chiquitos as a restaurant, at busy times it takes an age for food to come but the food is lovely. My husband had burritos and I had paella, my only downside to the paella is the 2 prawns staring at me. But that’s personal preference my husband normally has to deshell them I don’t like my food looking like it did when it was alive. The service could be a bit better but the guy we had on Tuesday was lovely.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chiquito in the Metro Centre, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding service and the extra care they took with my better half's allergies. While the prices were a tad high for the overall experience, the food quality and attentive service certainly made up for it.
The attention to detail, when it came to my partner's allergies, was truly commendable. The kitchen staff took special care to avoid cross-contamination and prepared a delicious meal that met all our requirements. It was a relief to see such diligence and consideration for those with specific dietary needs.
In conclusion, Chiquito in the Metro Centre deserves praise for its exceptional service, attention to allergies, and delicious food. The staff's knowledge and willingness to accommodate specific dietary needs were impressive, and the meals we enjoyed were full of flavour and well-prepared

Food was quickly brought to the table. Good and friendly service. Cost is average for what it is. Love the photo opportunities with the sombreros. Quiet atmosphere
