The Angel - Hungry Horse

I ordered the 'Full Monty Mixed Grill' and a lemonade, service was fast and i was only waiting around 5 to 8 minutes maximum for my food, the gammon was hitting on all cylinders and that egg was running more than Usain Bolt when I opened it up with a bit of the sausage. The sausages were nicely cooked and tasted great. The chips were light and fluffy with a very satisfying light crunch with each bite. The chicken was simple(but most chicken is) and the steak was not medium rare like asked, more like medium however it still had great taste, wasn't chewy and still practically melted in the mouth, it was nicely accompanied by a grilled pineapple ring which added a level of sweet to my savoury which complimented it nicely...4/5 only due to the steak being cooked a little over what was asked, overall I would recommend this place.

There's a big plate menu that offers huge portions for really good prices. The food quality is decent, its as good as most other pubs. The only let down for us really was the state of the tables, they were in dire need of a wipedown and we had to try 3 different tables before we found one we didn't stick to.

First impressions on this visit was upon ordering the meal the lad on the till could have been more polite no hi how's u just with his response being what's ur table number. The Lady running food was fab very polite and assisted great food was fab will devo return but need to be a bit more aware of the first point of call when ordering hence the 1 star missing I worked in hospitality for over 10 years so I know this
