Good seating areas for relaxing and having a drink, also they do nice food in here too. Only took a star off because they didn’t have some of what they were advertising but I know there’s a problem with deliveries right now and it’s still a really nice pub!

Give the Beaconsfield a visit when in the Gateshead area! Nice bar, and great beers. There was a real ale festival on and the bar was participating in a loyalty card offer - who doesn't like a free beer after purchasing a few??
The service was very good, despite unexpected staff sickness leaving the server working on her own in a fairly busy afternoon.

Cracking atmosphere, service is always fast even on the busiest days, Aidan is an absolute legend with the best crack, always up for a laugh. Even crafted us some random drinks and they weren’t half bad to be quite frank.

I absolutely love visiting the pub/restaurant situated atop Lowfell. The menu is incredibly diverse, allowing for something for everyone. I'm always impressed by the level of service provided by the staff, as they are always courteous and attentive. I'm also a huge fan of the pints they offer, with a sizable selection of spirits to choose from. Whenever I come here with my girlfriend, it's always a pleasant experience and I'm always happy to return.

I don't often like any Pubs in Gateshead but this Low Fell one is a diamond. Food great and excellent value for Money. Staff kind and polite. Not been yem in a while but definitely coming back on my next visit.

Fancied a relaxed Sunday lunch after a busy morning, I gave the Beaconsfield a quick call and was told they allow dogs in.
I Walked down and found it not as busy as I expected the barman said it normally got busier later. I was more than happy it wasn’t too busy the atmosphere was just right for a relaxed Sunday afternoon a few friendly people in, the back ground music not too loud so you can chat with ease and sports on the TVs to watch.
My beef Sunday dinner arrived in a reasonable time it was lovely, hot, full of flavour and more than enough to fill me up and I was very hungry on arrival.
The barmaid came over at one point and mentioned there was free dog treats on the bar and asked if my dog would like some she then brought a cup full over for my dog and asked if my dog would like water and brought a bowl of water to. I was blown away by this, the likes of Wetherspoon’s have a blanket policy that dogs are not allowed I disagree with this and so won’t use Wetherspoon’s even without my dog. The exceptional dog friendly environment at the Beaconsfield made me make note that it is a Green King pub and I will actively look out for their pubs where ever I am in future.
