Simply Cheesecake has taken up cult status in our house. The cakes themselves are wonderful, the variety of flavours can make choosing just one something of a challenge but no matter which one we settle on we have never been disappointed. The staff themselves are incredibly friendly and helpful too. If you've never eaten anything from here, i'd highly recommend that you do.
Just had my gluten free cheesecake that I purchased today at Bishop Auckland food festival and it was beautiful!! I will definitely be placing an order at some point !!
I bought some cheesecakes from their stall on the Quayside and I have to say they're some of the best I've ever had! They're creamy and the right amount of sweetness. I highly recommend the red velvet ones
Wonderful cheesecake spot 🍰 variety of flavours . I tried lemon and raspberry cheesecake & white chocolate and raspberry tart. They’re extremely delicious 🤤
Visiting Newcastle for the first time, we walked through the quayside market on a Sunday and stopped at this market stall. What a lovely lady, genuine and caring. Not only does she do excellent cheesecake, but is the Newcastle unofficial guide to fabulous places to visit.
Absolutely stunning rhubarb cheesecake 😋🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (now that's thinking out of the box!) An excellent choice of a variety of original and unusual cheesecake. Light lunch offers and terrific coffee. Highly recommended and should be supported.....these little treasures are rare to find these days!
Bought one Mandarin cheesecake. It was delicious. Just right - soft, not too sweet, not too heavy. Wish I had bought more for friends to try.
These cheesecakes are amazing 10/10 for me. Passion fruit and mangos my new favourite I can’t help but pick up 4 when I’m at the quayside keep up the amazing work there lush 😍
5 stars all round from me. What can I say. Amazing staff. Amazing cheesecakes. Such a lovely little garden to chill and enjoy a break with the wife. I know the hard work and effort you put into this business. You've risked yours and your daughter's future to make this work. You've overcome food festival financial losses, vandal attacks, the pandemic. Blood, sweat and tears have gone into this business. So if you're protecting your family, your customers and your business by asking for face masks to be worn then people need to respect that. If you've never visited this AMAZING little shop then please do. Everyone needs a treat every now and then. Even a daft old diabetic like me 😄
Very nice wraps and sandwiches both get the thumbs up. Good quick service lovely garden area to sit in dog friendly in garden too.

I absolutely adore Simply Cheesecake! There are so many flavours and they're always so lovely. And for the quality of what you get, you can't beat the price - especially knowing you're supporting an independent local business. Definitely give them a try.
Great place, beautiful food, lovely friendly staff. Only reason not 5 stars is that I have cancer and absolutely no sense of taste at the present time so couldn't taste the food that I had. When my radiotherapy is over and hopefully my taste sensation returns, I will be coming back to taste everything properly
