A regular at this Nando’s and thought I’d leave a further review after trying the new loaded fries.
Haven’t been in for a few months and was greeted by Norman who is probably the best host I’ve met in Nando’s. He was friendly, polite, couldn’t do enough for you, and best of all it came across as very genuine. I’m pretty sure he might have even went to Tesco just to get me some malt vinegar when I couldn’t find any with the condiments!
We were handed a leaflet with a photo of the new loaded fries on them and I couldn’t wait to try them.
The fries themselves were brilliant. Some of the tastiest I’ve had. The chips themselves weren’t hot, but warm enough to eat. I expect this was due to the time preparing the wraps we also had as the cheese had melted on top.
The wraps were disappointing on this occasion. I usually get a double, but got a single breast on this occasion. The wrap had 4 bits of chicken in about 2cmx1cm? This might be normal, but it did feel like I had more bites of a lettuce wrap than a chicken one. - you can see the 4 bits in the photo.
I’d have usually dropped a star for the food on this occasion, but since the host was so good it’s getting 5 overall.

Food is spot on. It's always good to come here after the cinema.
Keep your personal items close as there are a few local menaces that patrol the area.

It's a nandos the foods ok as are all their restaurants.
I personally don't like all the order on an app, help yourself to drinks, help yourself to this n that - it's like self service at a supermarket I'll pay a premium and do your staffs job.
However food was quick and standard nando food

Very nice quick lunch date. Nicely done inside, atmospheric with twinkly lights. Order using app at the table. Food arrived very quickly, freshly made and very tasty. Moderate prices.

Went for lunch on a Sunday so pleasantly quiet and was seated at one of their booths which we really appreciated. We did specifically ask for a whole chicken (served in four parts) with one spice on two pieces and another on the other two, but all were, as far as I could tell, the same marinade. Still fab though but a touch more attention to our request would have been appreciated.
All in all a lovely place for a bit of food; as with all Nando's, the interior is great and tables are made spotless before you're sat down.
