Saleems Takeaway

We have popped up this way a few times to see relatives and each time we order from Saleems! They seem to do something for everyone - kebabs, Indian, fish and chips and my personal fav the Parmas! Various dishes come with chips or rice etc. and it's very filling!! (as well as tasting good to!) If uou order over a certain amount they also throw in a free frozen drink or something similar. You really can't beat this place!

The naan kebabs are huge so order to share... I’d recommend using the website/app to pre-order as they are punctual and it can be a wait otherwise. They are well organised and friendly and there’s usually space to park on the street outside. Saleems special bbq nan kebab was £13. It’s huge, so enough for at least 2 adults with decent appetites and definitely good value for money. It was a pizza box with a full size properly made naan on the bottom layer, with tasty spiced donner, chicken and salad filling the rest of the space. The garlic and chilli sauce were also top notch. I’d probably just get the Leam House Special next time though. They do proper chip shop chips and the pizzas (including the curry pizza) are surprisingly good for a jack of all trades type fast food shop. Lots of complaints about delivery prices on here and yes, it is £4, but if you’re less than a mile maybe just pick it up… If you’re worried about being shortchanged, pay by card… It’s not Spice Hut but it’s a good kebab shop.

Had a Just Eat delivery from here. I got Lahori Fish, Tandoori Lamb Chops and the Tandoori mixed grill. The lahori fish was delishious, this seems to be my new favorite from the takeaways if they have it 😁 the tandoori lamb chops were really nice too and as for the mixed grill.. there was plenty of it and it tasted nice, i just thought the tandoori flavour was a bit overkill seen as i already had the tandoori chops as my starter. It was nice tho..
