I ordered by phone today. 3 fish 1 large chips. I have never had fish and chips so fresh and perfectly cooked. My two friends said the same. This is Simply The Best.

My favourite chip shop when I’m in the mood for a more traditional tasting meal. They cook with beef drippings so the flavour is different from other chip shops. If I’m in the mood for a cleaner taste then I go to Denny’s around the corner.
Used to be the best fish and chip shop in Kings Lynn, under new ownership it can only be described as third rate at best, the fish had been fried in oil that obviously needed changing and as a result the batter tasted very bitter and burnt, will never visit again. I've recently revisited River Lane fish bar after hearing on local radio that it was under new management, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the new owners in my opinion had restored it back to the days of being the best in King's Lynn, will definitely frequent more often.
Love this place - wonderful team and great, traditional fish and chips. Always friendly and helpful. Doing all the right things during the lockdown, so happy we can continue to support them in the community, and get a great lunch.
Fantastic is the only word I can think! The new owners are doing a great job! Not many places do a traditional fish and chips nowadays but these guys have got it right. Will come again
Nice golden crispy chips and the cod was lovely, the batter was crispy too not soggy like some chip shops. I've only been once but shall definitely going again .

Great fish and chips. One of the best places to go. Food is very nice. Staff are friendly and good service. Would recommend to every one to visit.
The best chippy in town neil & leanne are so professional ,, i order every week as a treat and our fish& chips are cooked to perfection wouldn't go anywhere
