The hotel is under refurbishment, the room I stayed in was complete and done to a very high standard. Nice little touches with usb sockets next to the bed. Food was delicious. Staff are friendly and attentive. Cant wait to visit again.

Recently been refurbished. Beautiful traditional town pub and hotel. Good food, good drinks and nice lounge. Ben runs a tight ship and always at a high standard. Nice beer garden out front as well

10/10 friendly staff and amazing food. We didn't book on a very busy day and they moved things around so we could be seated and enjoy a lovely dinner. Staff were so kind even boxing up some food for our dog! Michelle is amazing and the reason we will return!!!

For our family after my husband booked a single bed room for three of us 🙃 I can’t thankyou enough! Lovely service, perfect affordable room, and thank goodness for the air con in this 30 degree weather. Would recommend to anyone. Good luck with the refurb team Ethorpe.

This is a lovely hotel, with basic but functional rooms, I think the warm September weather took them by surprise as my room had Aircon, but it wasn't blowing cold,just recirculating warm air.
Nice food, excellent portion size, and good value. Amazing full English breakfast.

Great location to visit Legoland. Adequate free parking when staying. Lovely surrounding area. Rooms in need of a freshen up but clean and practical. Service in hotel/bar very good. Breakfast lots of choice and reasonably priced. Would recommend.

We were not staying in the hotel but were there mid-afternoon for a late lunch and the place was quiet. I had the Chefs seafood special and my husband had steak. Both dishes were enjoyable. They were both good sized portions and reasonably priced. The staff were lovely and service was excellent. We would go back again. Sorry, I can't add photos because once the food arrives, I forget to take the pictures 😅

Really nice hotel, attended for a funeral, staff were very friendly, bar staff very efficient & food that was laid on was out of this world, ample parking, ample seating indoors and outdoors.

Had a lovely family meal here. Large party, one meal was missed but free drink given whilst waited for it to arrive. Good customer service! Lovely food and service.
