I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Apple Tree and it truly exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the exceptional atmosphere - a perfect blend of elegance and warmth that instantly made me feel welcome. The tasteful decor and the soft lighting set the stage for a memorable dining experience.
The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish showcased the chef's creativity and passion. I particularly enjoyed the homemade brownie and breaded brie which was cooked to perfection and brimming with delectable flavors. I highly recommend giving it a try!
The prices are surprisingly reasonable for such a high-quality dining experience. The portions were generous, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations based on our preferences.
Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. It's a hidden gem that offers exceptional food, a wonderful atmosphere, and great value for money.
The service is brilliant 🤩 food was yummy 😋 the staffs were great 👍
Staff were very friendly and made the experience amazing for us. Daryl and Anissa were lovely and very attentive to our needs.
The food was quite good though not first class. Portions for the mains were huge. Good value small pudding with hot drink.
Very nice Malbec wine. Service friendly.
My husband and I visited the Apple Tree on a Saturday for lunch. The parking area is very spacious. We were greeted by a pleasant member of staff. We were able to choose where we wanted to sit. The dining area was clean and relaxing. The food was delicious. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience.
Excellent Sunday roast - but needed more gravy. Desserts also excellent. Good service and easy parking. Highly recommended.
We came across this restaurant on Easter weekend as we had to drive to Gerrards Cross for a short project. We had our Dog with us and needed a quick lunch somewhere pet friendly. When we called to check we were told that we could be seated outside with a pet, and they were able to accommodate us fairly quickly altho they cautioned that tables (first come first- served outside) were filling up quickly due to the lovely weather. We arrived to find a nice small patio/garden area adjoining the dedicated parking area. We ordered at the counter (our table was counter service) and were surprised by a very eclectic menu and not the usual pub food. They even have a vegan menu. We ordered the fish cakes, scallops and a burger. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. Staff were friendly and overall this was a lovely surprise find. Will definitely go back if we’re in the area again.
Lovely décor, great atmosphere, food was amazing and very friendly staff. We have a business dinner and one of the party had a birthday, not sure how the staff found out but they put a candle in her dessert when they bought it out. Fantastic!!
So we booked the meal on line which was great and when we arrived early we checked in and was welcomed which was lovely and told our table number so we could add drinks from the bar to our table bill.
We also put our car index into the parking system and settled into the bar for a couple of pre dinner drinks.
My first pint of Doombar wasn’t great as was my wife’s pink Prosecco so we changed it gin and tribute and all was fine, we was little surprised that even though we gave feedback on the drinks being poor we was still charged but I guess we did drink them so what can you say.
We was sat at table 5 and was served by a young man called Matteo who was polite, we asked for feedback on a couple of dishes but he explained he hadn’t eaten any of them but they were good sellers so we went we our guys and I had the pork belly and scallops and my wife had the lamb rump.
The food came out in 15 mins ish and Once served and we was left to it.
Meal wise my wife said the lamb was lovely but to me it looked tough and my Pork belly was ok but have had a lot better in lower grade venues: but the scallops were amazing and wish their was more than 2 on my plate.
So feedback on whole visit… I was disappointed in 4 aspects of our visit.
1. Plates and food was warm not hot which was a Shame.
2. No one came and table touched (restaurant term to check mid meal if all was ok) so had no one to tell meal was only warm and couldn’t see any staff.
3. When the plates were cleared no one asked if we enjoyed the meal so felt it difficult to find opportunities for giving feedback.
4. Charged for a flat Prosecco and naff Doombar:
It was also a shame taking into account we are really a cashless world that I wasn’t offered a the opportunity to add a tip when I was given the credit card machine. It saved me money but Matteo was nice so would have liked to give him something.
Overall it was a nice meal and would be happy to return but sometimes it’s the detail that matters.
Hopefully the management will tweak their service to match the venues guests expiations.
Great staff, lovely food. Nice outdoor seating area. Service fairly quick and efficient.
Young staff members so easy to talk to them
