De Niro's

We went here at 8.45pm tonight after driving past, after just being turned away from BRGR because "they don't serve sit-ins after 8.30pm" and Buddys in Shawlands not serving sit-ins due to an issue with their boiler, therefore no hot water(?). We had no problem getting sat down in De Niros! The waiter said the kitchen is open until 9pm so you are welcome! We both had the plain burger (american I think its called), a side of mac and cheese and also sweet potato fries to share. The sides were large enough for 2 to share and were amazing! Mac and cheese perfect and sweet potato fries nice and crispy. Meanwhile the burgers were big, juicy, perfectly seasoned and a little tiny bit pink inside, just as they should be. The food came within 15 mins of ordering even though there was only 1 guy in the kitchen (albeit restaurant was quiet). Chef came over to ask us if everything was OK and was a nice guy so thats a bonus. The table near us were having lasagna that looked amazing so we will defo return to try that! 10/10!!

Never fails to deliver. For those not yet in the know, this is Tribeca under new name and extended menu. You'll see all your old favourites. My particular reason for going back again and again is their extensive breakfast menu which is on sale pretty much all day. Staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. Great value for money.
