Came here a few weeks ago for a little bite and game of pool with my partner, was a lovely place with beautiful food. The staff was also amazing, met bartender called Charlie there who helped us out with the pool table and joined in with our banter, he has great spirit and character.
All the staff was polite, over all was a great pleaseure and certainly will be returning in future :)

We recently visited as a party of 18 whilst our son and partner was over from Australia. Couldn’t fault the food or service, had many a bad experience with other restaurants!

Had a great first visit at this local hidden gem.
The food was above average for a chain pub and the service in general was amazing. The staff were friendly and made me feel welcome. The pool table and darts board looked brand new.
Will definitely be visiting again. Great atmosphere! Great food! Great staff!

Charlie (the bar person) made my experience extra special! Took my drinks over to my table for me. Overheard him giving an elderly couple some advice on saving money when they order wine. What a guy! I would have him working for me just based on my experience of him. let's have more like him in this industry

Haven't eaten here yet. However, we are very quickly becoming regulars. Mel is a superstar. You need a star rating just for her!!!
We were here the last 2 weekends in a row and we don't usually go out. However we had such a good time here, we made a point to come back a second week in a row.
This weekend there was a live band, after seeing the Facebook post, I wasn't too bothered, but boy was I wrong. They were fantastic, the atmosphere was electric. All I am waiting for now is a bit of karaoke ;)

The food was not as hot as it normally is but the young lad was quick to get it replaced and we just love the apple Crumble, we always have good service.

Been twice now and both times, great service, happy staff, lovely hot food and very good prices. Was going to go to a different pub but decided to go back to Spyglass and Kettle as the prices were far cheaper. Definitely recommend to others.

First visit for a few years, was very surprised, food was good and very reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere with karaoke . Big garden

Still fantastic food had a rump steak medium rare was a little on the rare side but thats better that being overdone. We parked our mountain bikes in the garden which a member of staff opened the rear gate for us. Great pub good food and good drink selection.
