Came here again and got the steak special. This time it was 300g ribeye with peppercorn sauce, salad, onion rings and garlic and rosemary sauted potatoes for £36 each. Food was perfectly cooked. The service could not have been better. We had the friendliest server called Kelly. I can't recommend this place enough. My fiance and I just love it.

I was visiting Glasgow and asked my hotel to recommend a great steak place. Boy did they deliver! The Meat Bar was absolutely incredible. Great atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and the food was to die for. I was in town for a few days, and had originally intended to try a new restaurant each day. But I loved the steak here so much, I ended up eating here every day.

All about the meat. Choice of cuts available cooked however you like it.
Fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, mushrooms, mash. Lots to choose from.
Steak was perfectly cooked. Will come here again and would recommend for steak lovers. 😋😋

Food was absolutely perfection, had the best steak we have had in YEARS! Very accommodating, friendly and fun staff. The cocktails were beyond!! High quality food and service with great prices! Highly recommend!!

Perfectly cooked juicy and tender steaks. Delicious even without the sauce. I forgot to ask for salt and pepper because I couldn’t stop eating :3 The sides were quite oily and heavy, but the green leaves, tomato, and mushroom were a good companion to the beef.

Great quality steak cooked to your liking. Variety of different cuts with reasonable prices. Delicious thick fries and, for me best invention, deep fried jalapeños (must try!)
Nice neighborhood vibes, relaxed and friendly. Great seating for small groups, dates and singles. Cool bar vibes, staff is approachable and very helpful.
Small touches to improve overall experience:
1. Quality of ice for cocktails, my Negroni looked bit sloppy (delicious tho)
2. Would be nice if wine was poured at the table

Absolutely loved everything about this restaurant. The food was excellent by far the best steaks we have had. All the dishes were delicious and portions were share friendly. Cocktail was divine and staff were marvellous. A great meal and a great evening out.
