Excellent & service with really friendly & knowledgeable welcoming staff, excellent seating, clean and spacious for weary travellers with trollies & cases.
The ambience of Art Deco feel just adds to the atmosphere of the cafe😊
The food is excellent, pleasing to the eye, perfectly cooked heated & served by counter & wating staff, they have excellent presentation skills.
The poached egg with cheese on toast & mocha was I had this morning for brunch inside was top notch🍽💫
Excellent level access for the visually impaired & wheelchair users, like myself, has excellent accessible toileting/ changing access too..
I am impressed with this cafe, definitely worth 5 stars overall.
I would give more stars. I wanted a cozy breakfast place where I could also do a bit of work. I also wanted a twist to my lorne wrap (with rocket and salad tomatoes) and the lovely staff indulged me. the cost of everything was even more pocket friendly than I expected.
Lovely coffee. Atmosphere was nice and chill / retro
Had a really enjoyable lunch here for the first time, and will definitely return.
The ambience was perfect, and I would recommend the MonaLisa ciabatta panini which was fab 👍
An eclectic decor matched my eclectic breakfast. I get to Glasgow about once a year and always head to this most excellent café to enjoy its unique and pleasant atmosphere. The food is good and the staff always helpful. Bypass the chains and franchises and come here instead.
The most charming little spot. I visited on a Monday afternoon with my toddler. Here are my highlights -
- The Mocha was amazing. Easily one of the best I've ever had.
- Fully stocked pastry case. The Banana bread was delicious.
- The owner/manager is attentive and kind. We chatted about our kids for a few minutes and he made sure we were comfortable.
- The atmosphere is laid back and calm, with lovely music in the background. The way the light came in through the windows made it so warm and cozy.
- I got a salad to go. The servers were very accommodating, and the salad was very good as well.
Can't wait to go back!
Lovely for brunch and a catch up with friends. Nice atmosphere and able to chat easily without struggling to hear or having to shout at each other.
A lovely cafe with customers from all walks of life. Varied, comfortable seating, friendly and attentive staff!
Place was busy at lunch time, staff looked a bit lost at times, waited too long to order, to long to wait for food to be brought, a second coffee and cake was an inconvenience!
Maybe an off day, maybe a first day, maybe short staffed, not great regardless.
Gorgeous cafe located in the Glasgow city center. Came here with a friend to give it a shot, and we were more than happy with this place. The cafe is exceptionally clean and partitioned off for guests in accordance with maintaining distance (it's very respectable when it comes to stopping the spread of COVID) and nice and airy, too.
There are a variety of different seating options (upholstered chairs, wooden chairs, padded benches and other seats) and even a piano in the cafe.
I ordered a latte macchiato and banana cake, while my friend ordered a cappuccino with a triangular pastry. We were both very happy with the dessert, but we did decide that, ultimately, the banana cake was better. The coffee itself was so good and decorated beautifully. My latte macchiato came in these beautiful stratified layers and with a spoon to mix them together, whereas my friend's cappuccino had a dusting of chocolate and zig zagged frothed milk.
I highly recommend this place. The owner was so friendly and the service we received was perfect. Please give it a go
