White linens. LED purple/blue mood lighting. The restaurant presents upscale and classy. On this weekday evening the atmosphere is quiet and soothing. A nice calming music selection is playing and the staff is ready and willing to help. I selected a hot and sour soup to start. As I waited puff pastries with a very nice peanut sauce and delightful pickled carrots were served. The soup came out shortly. It was balanced towards the hot side of the equation. In any case, it was nice enough. For my entree I had sweet and sour shrimp. The dish came with a good number of large shrimp in an obviously home-made sauce. Combined with perfect fried rice, it was very pleasing. When I go home I will have to seriously upgrade my standards to match Thai Orchid.
Mostly seats people from the business area of argyll st and the prices reflect that. Behind the tacky interior, food really good and service attentive. Recommend for someplace different.
Did not really get what I ordered but what I got was fantastic!

The restaurant seems like recently refurbished. It is located in the glasgow city centre.
Speaking of the staff, they were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The food - it was simply delicious. We ordered a variety of classic Thai dishes, including oyster, pad thai, green curry, and tom yum, among others, and each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh and well-cooked, and the spices were perfectly balanced to create a truly authentic Thai taste.
Overall, I would highly recommend this Thai restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic dining experience in Glasgow.
Delicious, must try Tom Kha Kai, one of the most famous Thai soup (unfortunately forgot to take a picture). Very nice and friendly service.
Tasty food here with a good deal of lunch time.
Delicious food staff very attentive
The staff were friendly and very polished. The food was excellent; best we’ve had in our travels across Ireland and Scotland. We had Crispy Wontons, Wonton Soup, Chicken Pad Thai and Curry Chicken. It was wonderfully flavored and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!
Only went because it was chucking it down with rain so we dashed in. Best tofu massaman curry I’ve ever had. Delicious. We were there early and it wasn’t busy but the staff were lovely and it didn’t feel empty. Highly recommend. We’re here for the weekend so might have to come back before we leave. Yum.
Very friendly staff and cosy restaurant. Food and drinks are good. Portions are fairly big so if you are looking forward for dessert, you might want to skip a starter. Restaurant is very clean and staff makes sure everything is desinfected properly.
It was our first Thai experience and we loved it. Great food. More expensive than we would normally pay but we'll worth it. Lovely staff. Calming ambiance. Watch my videos on my YouTube channel and subscribe.
I love Thai food and this was probably the best I have ever had. I had a simple spiced prawn soup and a green Thai vegetarian curry (always my choice) and both were amazing. Service good. Everything spotless.
One of the best Thai food in the country and the best restaurant in Glasgow! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed their food and their soups are die for. Excellent service and the manager Danny is brilliant!! Can't wait to visit again to Thai Orchid!
