The Hug & Pint - Glasgow - Photo album

Was here to hear Gasper Nail who is from Malawi with a group of friends great little venue, not sure what his instrument was, he was joined for some of the time by his manager on guitar
**Edit** Staff have changed over the past year and now they have a new menu. Good but overpriced for what it is. After learning how music acts are treated in this venue- £50 between a whole band and charged for having a merch table - Im less inclined.. Love this place! Really unique vegan asian tap
EDITED** I went back last Friday for an exceptional meal with some fabulous margaritas and was well looked after. Really enjoyed the empanada cactus and jalapeño chz and the mushroom burrito. Seems like the previous time I was there they were still ironing out the new mexican themed menu. Anyway, lo
Innovative, vegan, pan-Asian, small plates sharing menu. Not at all what the name suggests! Food was really tasty. Some of the dishes tasted quite similar but that was the choices that we made! The aubergine was my favourite (can’t recall the exact name of the dish) There is a bar and open seating
Bloody marvellous. Staff super genuine and friendly. General decor and vibe of the place really fun and welcoming. Cracking little venue downstairs with a strong selection of local music, vitally reliant on small venues like this. Really nice selection of local beer and a small but bold menu of r
The highlight of my visit was to Glasgow! The food was delicious, the food was asian inspired and super authentic. The staff was very nice and helpful, the place itself was really cool and the music also super nice. Thank you for the amazing experience ✨💖
went here in 2018 & it was the first place I'd had sharing plates in glasgow. was absolutely heartbroken when I thought they'd closed for good; so happy to have them back. fab food, fab vibes, fab music if you happen to be there for a gig too. big hug.
Fantastic and super flavorful food. We went twice several weeks apart, and the menu had changed, but everything we got both times was superb. Glad they offered some zero-alcohol beer options, as well. We really appreciated that.
Great little pub. Was there for a gig and found all the staff were friendly and the sound was great in the live room downstairs. The only thing I could possibly criticise is the limited menu. It's great that it's vegan but I think it's just a little bit limited in its offerings
It used to be my favourite vegan restaurant, but now it has changed and it's not all vegan + food is totally different. It's tasty, but I think it somehow has lost its identity as a place.
DELICIOUS! The food was soooo good. I shared a rice, black fungus (tastes way better than sounds) greens, peanut tempeh (favorite plate), and miso mushroom. Good size for 2 people. The flavors were amazing. The staff was so nice! Great recommendations and so kind. Would love to go here again. Tasty
The food was fantastic. Great place for sharing vegan plates. The mushrooms and miso sauce are tasty and lovely, also really loved the sweet soy and coconut tempeh. Service was quick and friendly. Drygate beers on tap, including Disco forklift which is great 👍
Beautiful building, was once a bank and the architecture is still present and used well in the current design. Nice drink options, lots of vegan options for food. Staff are very friendly.
Loved it here! All vegan Bar-style place with downstairs band room. Delicious small Asian tapas style dishes to share. The waitstaff was great and gave good recommendations. The garlic greens were particularly tasty!
