It's comfortable, welcoming and delicious...the staff were very nice and gave us lots of time to decide what we wanted without pestering us, the proces were extremely reasonable and the portion sizes were absolutely excellent 🙌 as its winter, I grabbed some soup to scran alongside some pot sticker dumplings and I inhaled all of it , would absolutely recommend for solo eating or with friends 😊

For the restaurant it wants to be it is pretty good. There are so many different meals to order and everything happens really fast. It is definitely not a restaurant for a long stay but if you want to eat a fast but tasty meal it is perfect. As soon as we entered we kind of felt the rush but it was fun.
We had sweet and sour chicken and kung po duck with one portion of noodles. It was a good size for us both. We also had fried chicken dumplings which also tasted good but we never had dumplings before so we can't compare.
The prices are pretty cheap that's also good.
All in all it is a fine snack bar.

This used to be my favourite place in Glasgow but service has gone downhill over the past year and a half. Menu desperately needs updating, if certain things haven't been available for over a year now they probably ain't coming back (also bring back the mooshu chicken and mooshu pork please). If you want a table and you are white, you are automatically given a fork instead of chopsticks - what am I supposed to do with a fork with most of the dishes on the menu? Staff at the till shooketh to their very core that I wanted another meal on top of the small portion of dumplings, while the size of the dishes is a lot smaller than it used to be. I will be back but I am sad that this is no longer the place it used to be.

Dumplings are definitely the star of the show!
Dan Dan noodles were rich, comforting and spicy. However it had a thick layer of oil on top
Vegetable chow mein was a bit bland but the chili oil made a difference.
All portions were huge and worth their price.
Staff was quick to serve, friendly and aware of any Covid protocol. The restaurant has a great and intimate atmosphere.

Fast, functional eatery that offers lots of choice between Anglo-centric Chinese food and more authentic cuisine.
Special mention goes to the Dumplings (obviously) and also the Dan Dan Noodles. Oh, and the bao.

Unreal food, the chicken dumplings are simply amazing you have to try it.
They have a small lunch menu alongside their main one..
Today I opted for the Char Sui pork and rice, with a side of tea eggs and chicken dumplings, including a bottle of water it came to £11, total bargain.

With this cheap price, I am quite satisfied with what I ordered: chashao fried noodles and dumpings.

Simply unreal.
I seriously recommend the dry pork chilli noodles, pork and Chinese leaf dumplings, pork ribs and the tom yum soup.
Wonderful flavours, serious chilli and outstandingly quick service.
Get yourself in here for authentic dumplings, noodles and more.

Extensive menu catering for everyone, very tasty food and lovely service! The beef with ginger and spring onion was saucy, tender and delicious. The Thai king prawns was also a great dish. The fried wontons are amazing! We really enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend this place for Chinese food.

Awesome food, we over ordered as we think the food is small but turned out to be huge portions. Very tasty
Dumpling Monkey is a very small but busy restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. You queue to place your order, pay at the till and then staff serve it to your table. It's a no frills place but I thought the food was great. Very affordable too.

Quick, tasty and cheap. What more do you want! I highly recommend the Mapo Tofu, one of the best I’ve had. The pot sticker dumplings were also delicious, and made pretty tasty left overs the next day

A small yet popular restaurant located on West End, Dumpling Monkey is quite famous amongst the university students.

It offers authentic Chinese cuisine at affordable prices. The food portion size is large and can be for more than one person so one dish can be a good serving for two.

We tried the famous dumplings and unfortunately we were disappointed. It didn't seem to properly cooked/steamed and tasted a bit raw. The Fried Noodles and the Sweet and Sour Chicken turned out to be good.

The restaurant walls are covered with the reviews from various diners and sources and the service is fair.

Overall an average Chinese restaurant to visit for affordable meals.

Amazing Chinese restaurant at affordable rates. Being a student in Glasgow I find this place worth the money paid. Awesome quantity at stipulated price. Great staff and ambience.. I wish they could add more chicken dishes on their menu.. I highly recommend this place if you want to try traditional Chinese food in Glasgow

Delicious food with a smile. Great place, been there several times already with our family and each time left happy, our son loves those boiled beef and carrot dumplings, potstickers are brilliant, especially dipped in mixed soy and crushed chili sauces, tried couple of soups and the spicy beef soup is a little to hot for me, red roast ribs noodle soup is awesome though, of the special dishes Ma Po Tofu and minced pork served with rice does me the best, oh and those char-sui or beef and carrot buns are definitely worth trying when you are waiting for the main, remember to try it with the soy sauce, char-sui is a tad on a sweet side but for my taste goes awesome with the soy sauce and makes my taste buds go a bit crazy :) I have noticed Chinese boiled food and soup's taste is quite subtle so I think smokers would rather enjoy spicier soups or fried dishes. Now I tend to drop in from time to time on my way from work to pick something for my folks at home, definitely worth recommending

Really Poor. Not an easy place to find this as the sign above the shop is for PC repair. It's very tight inside with tables on each side and the counter at the back. I ordered the brisket beef soup noodles and it looked good when it arrived. However, the beef was very fatty and tough, the noodles were tasteless and the broth tasted like salty dishwater. It was hugely disappointing and uneatable. This was probably the worst meal I have ever had and I won't be back.
